God's Word is like Fire!

There is POWER in The Word of God.
•*¨`*•.✿Jeremiah 23:29 "Is not my word like fire,"
declares the LORD.

FIRE ..........
1) Removes darkness ( the word of God removes spiritual darkness)
2) It gives light & warmth (word of God is a lamp to our path & warms our Sp.life)
3) It burns the rubbish ( word of God helps us get rid of sin by revealing it to us)
4) It spreads ( So does the word of God. No man or power can stop the word of God spreading to the ends of the earth)

•*¨`*•.✿ Acts 6:7 "So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith."
•*¨`*•.✿ Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."
•*¨`*•.✿ Acts 12:24 "But the word of God continued to increase and spread."
  •*¨`*•.✿ Jeremiah 5:14, "Therefore this is what the LORD God Almighty says: "Because the people have spoken these words, I will make my words in your mouth a fire and these people the wood it consumes."
Now we can ask ourselves,
" Did I have my quite time today?
Did I read God's word, meditate on it, talk to God in prayer and hear HIS voice?"

Storms of life....

Hi.......

Have you sometimes wondered...
"Why do bad things happen to good people?" and " Good things to bad people?"
As believers, we too face storms in our life and some storms are really fierce.
One thing I've learned,
We can't stop the storm but can learn how to survive it!
How we react to the storm and handle it matters.
Instead of asking, "Why Lord?" We can ask,"Lord how can I handle this, show me ways to survive this?"

Characters of a storm...

Storms will come.

It will come suddenly ( Illness, accident, loss of finance etc happens all of a sudden)
It may be severe.
It may last for a long time sometimes.

So we see that storms are a reality....!
Dear child of God, are you going through trials, pain, losses, delays, prolonged illness....??
Feel like giving up...?
Please hold on....For the storm will pass by....!
Remember our redeemer lives and He said,"I'll never leave you or forsake you."
So you are not alone in the storm.
Your Saviour who promised He will never leave you is with you even if you are right in the middle of the storm....
Just the thought Jesus is with you is YOUR ANCHOR OF HOPE!
He will comfort you, intervene in your problems BUT IN HIS TIME & HIS WAY!
HE IS IN CHARGE OF THE WAVES THAT TRY TO TOSS THE SHIP(Your life)....REMEMBER THE WAVES ( YOUR PROBLEMS) ARE UNDER HIS FEET!
Isn't that comforting?
How we respond to the storm matters... !
If when we face problems we say'" I won't read the Bible" "Won't go to Church" etc we will only mess up things.
We got to continue to hold on to our faith
and walk with faith!
We should keep our focus on Jesus and not on the storm that rages around us.
Once our focus shifts to the storm we start to sink.Matthew 14: 28"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water."
29 "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"

Are you walking through a fierce storm? Is the pain too much to bear?...
Is your burden too heavy?
Look up to Jesus ..He's right beside you...
Tell Him you love Him , Praise Him in midst of your pain....!
He knows your pain , He has suffered more pain that that and so understands...
Just love Him and surrender your all to Him...
Rest in His arms and let the storm rage...As long as your eyes are fixed on His face that's all that matters....
Daniel's 3 friends said that they will not bow to that idol even the Lord didn't save them.

Let's be alert, watch and pray..

All we can do is PRAY!!
Let's pray,intercede,for God's looking for people who will stand in the gap and pray for the lost and for those who know the truth and still live in sin before God raises HIS arm in judgement.
 Yes God cannot be taken for granted for long.
If He rises to strike it's going to be hard.
 For the Bible says it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a living God..

26If we deliberately keep on sinning after we
have received the knowledge of the truth, no
sacrifice for sins is left, 27but only a fearful
expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will

♪♥♪♥♪♥♪Let's get doing all that we have to do for the Good News to reach the ends of the earth.
♪♥♪♥♪♥♪Let's be bold witnesses for JESUS CHRIST of NAZARETH.
 ♪♥♪♥♪♥♪Let's not be ashamed to stand up for what and who we believe, speak out the Good News of Salvation and also of the coming judgment.
♪♥♪♥♪♥♪Let's walk that 'extra mile' and 'love those who hate us', 'pray for those who mistreat us.'
♪♥♪♥♪♥♪Let's mend broken relationships.
 Let's not be idle doing nothing for our Lord.
★1 Thessalonians 5:1 And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
♪♥♪♥♪♥♪Let's not put away for tomorrow what we can do today.
If the Lord's been asking us to do something...let's just do it!!

Pornography is something we should not tolerate.
  ★ Pornography is addictive and a sin as it defiles the body, heart and mind and so... many young and old, even those who call themselves children of God, are hooked on to it and held in bondage to watch it.
★ Today the 'prince of this world' Satan has made it thus so that young people can easily have access to pornographic material on-line, even through their mobile phones.He has only one agenda to "steal, kill and destroy". So many fallen in his trap and unable to come out as "Pornography is addictive."
  ★ But each soul is precious to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Lord said we are the 'light'
❤Ephesians 5 : 8 "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10and find out what pleases the Lord. 11Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13But everything exposed by the light becomes visible."
  ★ We just can't sit back and say, 'It's not my concern'.
We can't change it if we tolerate it.
  ★ We got to stand up and speak against things that are not right and also pray about it.

★ We got to do something about it.
  ★ We got to help people struggling in this area, to break free from this addiction.
  ★ We got to say "NO" to pornography.
Because it...
۩۞۩It's addictive...
  ۩۞۩ Distorts one's thinking...
  ۩۞۩ Degrades ones mind...
  ۩۞۩ Dominates one and makes him a slave to it (Rom 6:16)
  ۩۞۩ Destroys individuals, homes, communities.
  ۩۞۩ Defiles relationships, body, mind, heart.

Can we pray against this and do something to change this?

Can we help people we know struggling with this addiction?

 If someone out there is watching pornography in secret, know that it's time to say NO.

Reach out for help and prayer and resist this temptation.

With God's help you can...
