WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Despise not valley walks..

Our walk may not always be on level ground or on bed of roses.
We may not always enjoy mountain-top experiences.
We often walk the difficult path down the mountain, in the valley...
Let us not despise valley walks, we will sure hear God the loudest there and His voice will resound as it echos.
Let us press on and not give up...but hold on to Jesus Christ, He is the glory and the lifter of our head!
He will never leave our side if we put our trust in Him.
No matter how difficult the path may be right now...if we walk with the Lord we will reach the right destination!
He will redeem us and give us honor...
So..let us choose to sing through the darkest night our deliverance comes from Him alone!
"Sing, Daughter Zion;
shout aloud, Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,
 Daughter Jerusalem!"(Zephaniah 3:14)
Be blessed,
Julia

God adds meaning and value to our life...

Satan robs moment by moment and soon one day has passed.
Time lost is lost for ever!
But when we yield our time in our Lord's mighty hands, He will add meaning to every fleeting moment and our day well spent!
Our God is concerned about all that concerns us..
Our walk with our Savior is always rewarding..
God bless...
Good night..

Let us stay connected to God in prayer...

The enemy just tries his best to keep us from talking to God..
But let us not stop talking to our Lord Jesus Christ...
Prayer is our life line that keeps us connected to our power source...God!!
Let's keep praying and believing and experiencing, God's love, His power, His peace..and all that He has is for us...

Joy comes in the morning....

  • "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal."~Thomas Moore(1779-1852)
    Inline image 1
God's Word is always a great source of comfort and the Holy Spirit's voice a great source of encouragement and God's presence in and around us, a great source of our strength in midst of testing times.
"Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning"(Psalm 30:5)
The place God's leading us to is beautiful and it is a place He promises to wipe our tears away....
The sufferings in this world are light compared to what is in store for us!!
His Word helps us to endure the trials and testing times of this moment...!
2 Corinthians 4:17, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory."
He will never leave or forsake us, even in midst of our darkest moments, His eyes are on us.

God's Word says in Matthew 10:29-31, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
If not a sparrow falls without God knowing, how much more He will care for us!
Trusting in our Lord Jesus Christ, may not always remove the hurdles we face or make mountains smaller.
But it sure make our running and climbing easier.
We may be walking a desert pathway or on a narrow road,
but when our trust is in our Lord and our eyes are fixed on Him, we know He will finally leads to the beautiful place (Heaven); because He is the author and finisher of our lives!
Be blessed this day and week,
    Julia

Staying focused on God and His Word...

'The mightiest weapon(bullet) Satan uses is an unguided word or thought of a believer.
Rejection is another weapon of Satan '
~ Smith Wigglesworth.

As we walk through this week, may God's Word be a lamp to our feet and may The Holy Spirit help us not to give in to the enemy and loose God's best for us.
God is not a liar(only Satan is) or is He double minded(only we are).
May we be focused on our God, bold, strong n may God's joy be our strength.
Have a blessed day and week!

God's plans are always better!

"...Many plans are in a man's mind, but it is the Lord's purpose for him that will stand...."Proverbs 19: 21)
God's plans are always better, His ways always higher!
What the enemy messes, He fixes!
When the devil destroys our God restores...
If one door gets shut, He opens another..
Even when the Lord asks us to let go of something or lay something down or takes away something from us...it's only to empty our hands to give us something higher, something better, something spacious, something fruitful!
So sometimes what we think is a loss will turn out to be a gain!
That's our God!
When we cannot wait patiently to see His plans fulfilled and choose to pick up what seems to look good in our eyes, we fail to get the BEST God has for us! It's better to wait n be in His plan and get the BEST than hurry up to get the 2nd BEST!
All that glitters is not Gold...our Lord surely knows better about Gold as in Heaven the streets are made of Gold!! :) Each of us make great plans for our future but God's purpose and destiny for us will last through all eternity.
Let's not be upset when our plans fail, if we are God's children He has something better in store for us because He looks at things with eternity in mind!
Sometimes God makes radical changes not to harm us but to stop us from being harmed!
Sometimes He changes the path we walk because He sees much ahead of us and knows that way would lead to our destruction.
So let's yield to His plans for He has THE BEST for us!
We all get so...impatient at some point but I guess through delays God's teaching us to be patient! Patience was Job's middle name..:) Was blessed to read this....:)
May His plans be fulfilled in our lives.
Be Blessed,
YSIC

What God did not promise and did promise!

God did not promise.
A life free of pain,
Skies always blue,
Pathway strewn with flowers,
A bed of roses,
Only sunshine with no rain,
Only joy  and  not sorrows,
No heart breaking incident.

But He has promised.....

Grace for the trials,
Comfort in midst of pain.
Light for the way,
Strength when we are weak,
A lift when we fall,
His undying love,
His presence with us at all time!
To mend a broken heart.
Keeps a record of every tear.
And He'll wipe our every tear one day!

This gives me the courage to keep walking this

narrow Path..

What about you?

The clouds will move and the sun will shine...

God will heal, restore and provide....

God...assigned to the sea its limit...

We Serve a Mighty God!
Proverbs 8:29 When He assigned to the sea its limit,
So that the waters would not transgress His command,
When He marked out the foundations of the earth,
Psalm 104: 9 You have set a boundary that they may not pass over,That they may not return to cover the earth.
Job 38:8 “Or who shut in the sea with doors,
When it burst forth and issued from the womb;
9 When I made the clouds its garment,
And thick darkness its swaddling band;
10 When I fixed My limit for it,
And set bars and doors;
Psalm 33: 7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses

God gathered the waters together and called it sea....

Genesis 1:10
And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

Psalm 96:11
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;Let the sea roar, and all its fullness;

Psalm 8:8
The birds of the air,And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas.

 Psalm 69:34
Let heaven and earth praise Him,The seas and everything that moves in them.

There are times we need to be silent....

Jesus Christ our Lord was betrayed by Judas, now taken before Pilate for trial and was being questioned, accused by the chief pries and elders; jeered and booed by the crowd but He did not utter a word and stayed calm.
Was so... blessed to read this...
▓▒░Matthew 27:12 When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13 Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” 14 But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor." ▓▒░
Wow! the governor was amazed when Jesus stood calm and did not even try to defend Himself!
When we find ourselves in such situations we tend to defend, debate, argue, back-answer and waste precious moments. It's better to be still and let God work on our behalf, fix us if we are wrong, lift our heads high when we are right!
He is the Glory and the Lifter of our heads!
Jesus stayed calm because the Holy Spirit controlled Him and His temperament.
Lord..Jesus..help us to be like You....!
Be blessed..

Only God can do this!

Only our God can change a heart of stone into a

heart of flesh!

He says in..

Ezekiel 36:26

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit

within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your

flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Be blessed,

Julia

It's not easy always...but worth it all...

It's not easy to walk the difficult path but our challenging times, painful moments, tears is going to be worth it all in the end, if our eyes our fixed on our Lord and if we keep up the faith.
And let us keep the finish line is in sight!
Then we will one day be able to say like Paul:
2 Timothy 4:7
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Abba Father....help us to press on. no matter how hard a situation we may be it.
May Your Spirit guide and lead us...
In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen

Delay is not denial!

Those who wait on God Almighty sure will get the best...!
Delay is not denial....surely God's preparing something BIG!
God will surely make all things beautiful in His time...!
Let's wait and receive the best from God's hand..

Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives,
13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
14 I know that whatever God does,
It shall be forever.
Nothing can be added to it,
And nothing taken from it."

God does it, that men should fear before Him.
God bless..
Julia

May we be still and see God move,,,

God's light can pierce through even in the most darkest moment of our lives...
God's hand reach down to the deepest depth of our despair..
God's healing touch can heal us from sickness and pain for which there is no medication on earth.
Praise God,because our God is Almighty, all powerful, all knowing and all present, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.
Be blessed,
Julia

Let us explore The Word of God....

I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure.
Word of God is like a treasure box...so many go deeper into it and find precious gems(truths),and when they share it with us we are so...blessed!
Thank God for children of God who share and teach the the Word of God.
But we need to explore the mystery and treasures ourselves too!
Let's explore God's Word and be amazed at what the Holy Spirit will teach us!
Be blessed,
Julia

What is our need this day?

What is that we need this day?
However small or big our need is, let us 1st talk to God about it.
May be it's a healing touch from God for a slight head ache or some severe pain.
May be our need is just a little pocket money or a huge amount to pay some bills.
May be we need help to get a little job done or a huge work.
May be it's just some wisdom or guidance.
Whatever it it, let us talk to our Lord Jesus 1st.
No one understand us and our needs and our situation as He does.
So let us lift up our eyes, our voice and hands to Him before we look around us.
He will not disappoint us.
He has promised to meet our every need, will He then fail us?
Have a blessed day..

Prodigal returns

Hi Family and friends
My Heavenly Father's love so...captivates my heart!
He loved man-kind so much that He sent His Only Son Jesus Christ to die for all our sins. Jesus died to set us free and rose again on the 3rd day. giving us hope for a future. Jesus will come again to take us to be with Him.
Father's love is constant, patient and welcoming. He waits for a child who strays away or backslides.

¸.•*¨*Sometimes a child willingly strays and walks away from the Father like the Prodigal son.
(Luke 15:12, "The younger one said to his father, 'Father, give me my share of the estate.' So he divided his property between them.')
Prodigal walks away
¸.•*¨*Sometimes one may foolishly wander away like the lost
sheep
(Luke 15:4-6," "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.')
Shepherd looks out for the lost sheep
¸.•*¨*And yet others maybe lost in this world like the coin
(Luke 15:8-9' suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?").
Woman searches for the lost coin
But no matter what God's love reaches out. He waits for the son who willingly walks away, searches hard for the strayed and lost.
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. Psalms 147:3
When the Prodigal son returned home in repentance, he seen his heart. The father was so....happy he forgave, forgot and didn't ask him what he did with all the money or how he spent it, he was just happy the son returned.
Prodigal returns

This is our Heavenly Father's love!
He welcomes a truly repentant son with love and not condemnation.
Father always picks up a son who repents and looks at him in compassion. He doesn't shake his finger or cast him out. But lifts him up and says "I love you. I forgive you. Sin no more. It doesn't matter what people say, but my I am able by the Blood of my Son JESUS, to wash your sins away."
But the elder brother found it hard to accept his younger brother's return but the Father wanted to rejoice.
(Luke: 28-32' older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, 'Look! All these years I've been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!' " 'My son,' the father said, 'you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.')
THIS IS OUR FATHER'S HEART ND LOVE. HE SEES BEYOND OUR

FAULTS, FALLS AND LOOKS AT OUR HEART.

OUR HEART THAT TURNS TO HIM IN REPENTANCE.
Even today when Prodigals return home in repentance, some fellow brothers still look with suspicion and may refuse to accept them.
But cheer up there's hope in Jesus. He accepts a repentant sinner, a backslidden child whole heartedly.
Let us ask the Father to fill our hearts with HIS love today...so that we can love like HE does!
Do you have loved ones who once loved the Lord and loved His people but who have walked away from God?
They may have once been on fire for God but gradually became cold and disinterested in the things of the Kingdom.
Today can we pray for all the prodigals we know because their Heavenly Father awaits their return.
Be Blessed!
Julia

Our breakthrough is coming...Praise God!

WHAT IS OUR NEED TODAY?
LET US FIND THE SCRIPTURE TO BACK OUR NEED AND STAND ON IT AND THEM!
LET US SPEAK THE WORD INTO OURSELVES AND OVER EACH AND EVERY SITUATION WE FACE.
THE WORD IS THE TRUTH AND WHEN WE SPEAK THE TRUTH WE ARE TRUTHFUL, NO MATTER WHAT THE NATURAL EYE, EAR, SEE/OR HEAR!
NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS, LET US BELIEVE IT IS DONE AND START PRAISING AND THANKING GOD!
THOUGH OUR EYE CANNOT SEE OR OUR EARS HEAR...
OUR MIRACLE, OUR BREAKTHROUGH IS ON THE WAY...
LET US PRAISE GOD!!

Pause a while today....

We can pause a while daily, to see a child smile, a butterfly flutter, leaves sway in the breeze, the beauty of the flowers and it's fragrance, the sunrise, listen to the birds sing or just look at anything that catches our attention in the nature around and Praise God for His beautiful creation!
Have a blessed day!

Noticed this?

Have you noticed this?
If a drop of rain falls on a lake or a puddle or stream; it mixes with it and looses it's identity.
But if it falls on a lotus leaf or lotus, it shines, it stands out!

 This made me think...
The water drop is the same, but it's company makes a difference!

Let's stand out and shine for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The world has to recognize who we are connected to.
We may be weak, helpless but when on CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK WE STAND, all that's HIS IS OURS. HE BECOMES OUR STRENGTH, HE TAKES OVER and NOW IT'S NOT US BUT CHRIST WHO LIVES IN US!
When our life is build on the rock, nothing will move us. We can stand up as strong witnesses for our Lord in this dark world.
▓▒░☆Matthew 7:24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
Let people take note of who we believe in!!
Let our lives reflect our the One who lives in us and let us stand out and shine for Him!
Be Blessed!!!
