Jesus Christ our Lord was betrayed by Judas, now taken before Pilate for trial and was being questioned, accused by the chief priest and elders; jeered and booed by the crowd but He did not utter a word and stayed calm.
▓▒░☆Matthew 27:12 When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13 Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” 14 But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor." ▓▒░☆
☆Wow! the governor was amazed when Jesus stood calm and did not even try to defend Himself!
☆When we find ourselves in such situations we tend to defend, debate, argue, back-answer and waste precious moments. It's better to be still and let God work on our behalf, fix us if we are wrong, lift our heads high when we are right!
He is the Glory and the Lifter of our heads!
He will shield your head in the day of battle ▓▒░☆Psalm 140:7 "Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer, you shield my head in the day of battle."
Have a blessed day!!!
