WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

God knows and He cares

Sometimes we have a 100 questions as to why certain things happen....

But only God really knows why..

We need to just wait on Him and He will take care of all that concerns us.
He's perfecting us day by day.

Hi..
God did not promise....

A life free of pain,
Skies always blue,
Pathway strewn with flowers,
A bed of roses,
Only sunshine with no rain,
Only joy & not sorrows,
No heart breaking incident...

But He has promised.....

Grace for the trials,
Light for the way,
Strength when we are weak,
A lift when we fall,
His undying love,
His presence with us at all time!
To mend a broken heart..
This gives me the courage to keep walking this narrow Path...
What about you??
God Bless,
Julia

  7. Yes we all need a time of drawing away to hear what God has to say & just be in His presence.

Last year I read this word posted by Bro Ras Robinson..
That has helped me ..to see how much our Lord longs to draw us away to be in His presence....
I'm sure this will bless you..
WOW we need to treasure these quiet moments......with our Lord!!
    Read it...
    Love & prayers....

June 16, 2008. Things and people have kept you so busy you have hardly had time to think.
    Sleep has been inconsistent.
Your nerves have become frayed. I tell you the time has come for you to come away with me for a while.
We will go to a quiet place near a beautiful river and there we will commune together, you and I.
No preparation is necessary. All you need is a hungry heart and a thirsty mind. Through your spirit I will speak to you words of life and refreshing.
You know to periodically do this but your situation has caused you to forget. It's alright.
Just come away. Oh, come prepared to receive fresh and the most powerful revelation yet.
Mark 6:31 "And He said to them, "Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while." (For there were many people coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.)
    Ras Robinson.

  14. Life as a Christian is sure not a bed of roses, it's not easy to say."I refuse to be discouraged.." but we can choose to say that in spite of discouraging things we hear, see and face because of Jesus, who walks with us.

  15. So often we face discouraging and painful situations that we feel so...hurt and lost.
Well our Heavenly Father never promised a life free of trials and tears.
But He did promise to be with us and He does keep a record of our every tear drop.
PSALM 56:8 Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll — are they not in your record?
Even through difficult times He will not leave us.
ISAIAH 43: 2 When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.

  16. Sometimes the going is really tough and we may feel we just can't move ahead. Sometimes we cry out.." O Lord when will your deliverance come, when will you meet my need, when will you heal me.."
Sometimes we feel the Lord does not see us or hear us.....
But He is still there and it's He who carries us through tough situations.
Our deliverance comes from Him, in His time.
1 Samuel 2:1 Then Hannah prayed and said: "My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.
There were times in the past I just felt defeated and wanted to quit this spiritual walk but it was my Lord who helped me every single time...
    He had restored
    ~my failures to success..
    ~my sorrows to joy...
    ~my loss to gain...
    ~my sickness to good health..
    ~my tears to smiles..
~If He did it yesterday He'll do it today...
~If He did it for me, He will do it for you.
    FOR HE'S THE SAME YESTERDAY,TODAY & FOREVER.
Above all we have the Holy Spirit who abides with us and He brings peace and comfort in midst of the storm.
JOHN 14:16, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;"
So let's wipe our tears and be encouraged in the Lord for HE is with us even if we are His children.
He listens to our cry and encourages us.
Psalm 10:17 You hear, O LORD, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
We too need to encourage others who go through rough waters.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Therefore encourage each other with these words.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
Here below is a poem that blessed me...
    Be Blessed,
    YSIC,
