WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

God's love changes us!

God's love changes prodigal sons/daughters into precious saints!
With a thankful and grateful heart praising God for the day He chose me....
If He had not found me I would be so...lost!
Let's praise Abba Father for sending His only begotten son to die for us so that we may live
Let's praise our Savior for choosing us and calling us His own
Let's thank God for the Holy Spirit, Who lives in us and leads and guides us!
We may not look perfect today but God's working in each of us so that day we see Him we will be like Him.
Let God have His way and will in our lives!
Be Blessed!

Pray for Israel daily

Genesis 12:3
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you."

Psalm 122 (King James Version)

Psalm 122
1I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

4Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

5For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good

Bring in the sick, lost, hopless....

Hi...
Greetings...
churchh.png
Our Lord came to seek and save the lost.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.
Mark 2: 15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the "sinners" and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: "Why does he eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"
The self righteous Pharisees were  not happy to Jesus eat with sinners. But Jesus loved them and knew they needed Him the most.
Mark 2:17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
Are we turning our face away from people who we think are not of our kind? They are the ones who need to see Christ's love in us and through us.
Our Lord wants to see many souls won for the Kingdom.
God. He came to save them.
Luke 5: 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Luke 14:23 "Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full.
That's why the Lord wanted us to go into the world a preach the Gospel.
There are millions who need to know about our Lord and His salvation plan.
The Lord chose us and now has a mission for us.
Isaiah 42:6 "I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness;
I will take hold of your hand.I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people
and a light for the Gentiles,
7 to open eyes that are blind,
       to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

Christ's mission on earth was this and now God wants us to be imitators of Christ. We are blessed to fulfil God's mission.
We need to seek Christ's Righteousness to be imitators of Him.
Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Let's reflect Christ. Let His love rule and reign in us.
2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
Let's go to the struggling, the lost, the wandering, the hopeless, the sick, the lost, the backslidden, with the Word of Life and Hope.
Stay blessed...

Too busy for our Lord Jesus?

Hi..
Let's continue to faithfully serve God.
Image Hosted by ImageShack.usMalachi 3:18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.We cannot serve 2 masters. Let's give our Lord the 1st place in our lives.
Image Hosted by ImageShack.usMatthew 6:24 "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."
Let's not get too busy doing other things that we forget our 'Great Commission'
Be blessed...

Too Busy for Jesus?
The dream became clearer as
I tossed around in my sleep .
The Lord was calling my name over and over,
so loud and deep.
The voice surrounded my bedroom, I stared within.
He said, "This is Jesus, my friend, where have you been?"
He said, "My dear child, what have you done today, to walk in my footsteps and try not to stray?
Not once have you been humble on your knees in prayer. Child, you must shine my light and show others you care."
I saw you yesterday, only glancing at the man on the road.
He was having car trouble and needed to be towed .
You said, "I can't stop or I will surely be late,
someone will help him soon, he'll just have to wait."
"One of your workers has been sick and almost died.
This lady is a widow and food for five she must buy.You have plenty and you're never hungry when you go to bed.
Why are you so greedy and trying to get ahead?
"What if I had been too busy to die on the cross?
You would never walk the streets of gold, your soul would be lost.
What if I had been too busy to hear you that day,
when you asked forgiveness and earnestlprayed?"
I awoke from my deep slumber and my heart felt content.
I thanked the Lord on my knees,
for the message He had sent.
So many times, I take for granted the small things He has given to me.
Without the Lord in my life each day,
I am blind and cannot see.

Treasure your quiet moments with God.

Praise God!
Psalm 119: 145 I call with all my heart; answer me, O LORD,
and I will obey your decrees.
146 I call out to you; save me
and I will keep your statutes.
147 I rise before dawn and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.
148 My eyes stay open through the watches of the night,
that I may meditate on your promises.
We need to treasure our daily quiet times with our Lord.
When we want to take time to be alone with God, we need to shut out the world, turn off things that disturb us (like the telephone/mobile) & take our Bible & go to our Saviour's feet.
Then it's just The Lord and me...
We can praise Him, worship Him, thank Him, talk to Him, Cry to Him.
We can play some worship songs & sing along..
We can read His Word, Meditate on it.
We can pray and sing the scriptures..
May be it's just a few verses we read but let's see, wait and hear what the Lord's telling us.
Psalm119: 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
106 I have taken an oath and confirmed it,
that I will follow your righteous laws.
We need to hide God's Word in our hearts.
Psalm119: 9 How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to your word.
10 I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands.
11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.

Let's take out time to read HIS WORD every day.
We can talk to Our Heavenly Father freely as a child.
He's never too busy when we need to talk to HIM...In fact He loves to fellowship with me...
We can pour out our heart to Him...
Cry out to Him....He doesn't mind it.
We can share all that's in our heart to Him..
He doesn't miss a tear or a sigh...nothing goes unnoticed...
For He's loves us with an everlasting love.
We also need to wait quietly to hear Him speak......
There are days I don't say a word..when I'm in HIS Presence...but my silence & my tears too do speak to HIM...
No one can love us as He does...
He gave us His all and HE gave us HIS best.
JESUS died and rose again so that we may live eternally, with HIM in Heaven.
So let's desire to give HIM our best time, our quality time to Him...
Try not to compromise on these quiet times with God.....
There are also days i miss out on these quite times..but My Lord still loves me...& waits for me.
Daniel was a busy man but seen that 3 times a day he was on his knees in God's presence.
Daniel 5:10 Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.
Nothing made Daniel compromise on his time with God, not even a threat to his life!!! Let's take time daily to spend some time at our Savior's feet.
I've seen friends who work & go to school take the Bible & go out to some quite place during lunch break or tea break to spend some moment alone with God.
Steal moments here & there to be alone with God..
Sometimes even when we are at a crowded place like a bus we can shut off all that's around be able to feel His presence around, talk to Him and hear His voice.
Let's not miss out on our quiet times with God ..let's treasure these moments.
In HIS presence we are renewed & refreshed.

Being a good Samaritan

Hi.......

Have you ever come across people who think they are very "Holy" and feel they will lose their holiness if they stopped by to shake hands
with you or talk to you?
In their eyes you may not look important,
so they will walk past you as if they never knew you.
But thank God for Jesus Christ our Lord, He loves us all the same!
The Samaritans were people living in Samaria, who felt they were descendants of the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh (Joseph's sons).
But the Jewish view was they were descendants of foreign captives brought from places like Babylon etc, and settled in Samaria by the King of Assyria.

2 Kings 17:24 Samaria Resettled "24 The king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Avva, Hamath and Sepharvaim and settled them in the towns of Samaria to replace the Israelites. They took over Samaria and lived in its towns."

Though the Samaritans were despised, we see our Lord Jesus reach out to the Samaritan woman.
John 4:7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" 8(His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) 9The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?"

She was surprised because no respectable Jewish man would stop by to talk to Samaritan woman like her who lived in sin. But Jesus Christ our Lord did stop by. The good news is for all men/women. Jesus came to save the lost and He crossed all barriers to share His love and the gospel. We have to be Imitators of Christ.
Galatians 5: 1Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

In Luke 10 Jesus tells the parable of the Good Samaritan, when a Lawyer wanted to know who will inherit the Kingdom of God.
Luke 10: 25
On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" 26"What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?" 27 He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself." 28 "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live." 29But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" 30 In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. 35The next day he took out two silver coinsand gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.' 36"Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" 37The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."

Here the priest avoided the wounded man, the Levite did not want to help but the Samaritan treated him with love. Let us not look down on a fellow pilgrim, pass by a struggling believer, avoid the fallen, thinking, "I'm holier than you, I can't touch you."
(1 Corinthians 13: 1-13)
Let the love of Christ always rule and reign in our hearts.
