WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Electronic Gadgets...are a blessing but...

Praise God for all the electronic gadgets. These gadgets are a blessing to us and reduces work time, makes communication easier and quicker, helps us learn a lot and literally brings the world into our home and hands.Electronic gadgets help us save time so that we have more time to read God's Word, pray and serve Him and spend quality time with family,
Let us not allow these gadgets take over our mind, time, family and real friendships.
This can be dangerous...
It's sad but true sometimes we are looking at our mobile or i-pads more than we look at God or our  loved ones..:(
It's sad we can talk to on-line friends for hours but find it hard to take our eyes off the gadget to look at God or real people around. So often we miss what God and people say to us because our mind is on what we do on the gadget!
It's sad we spend so much time surfing the net, watching TV and playing games that our prayer times, bible readings and family conversations are a quick affair...
Help us to set priorities right O Lord....!!
Have we ever wondered what the Television, internet, games on computers, mobiles, i-pads robbed from us?
Has it robbed our time, quiet time with God, family devotion, good reading, art of writing using paper and pen, Church attendance, visiting friends, entertaining friends at home, family time together, just laughing and talking?
Wholesome conversation, real friendships and relationships, playing with kids and reading them stories?
God gave us these gadgets to ease our work so that we have more time for Him and His word!
But addiction to a gadget like television, mobile, i-pad, laptops and allowing it to take too much of our precious time that we do not have time for God, family or people around us can be dangerous!
Yesterday is gone...
Tomorrow may never be ours..
Today..in fact this moment is all we have right now,
Let us give our best to God, our loved one, our job for the day we stand before God we will have to give an account to our creator, even for the time He gave us and how we used it.
Psalm 90:12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Let's serve our Lord with gladness and enjoy our time with Him and family.
Have a blessed day,
Julia
