Someone said: "The will of God will never take you, where the Grace of God will not protect you."
Life is a journey. It is not a walk on bed of roses but often we will walk through difficult paths.
We will be on mountain tops and sometime will walk down the valley. Sometimes we will walk via beautiful Meadows and sometimes through the wilderness too.
Though we walk through small and difficult paths down the valley or in the wilderness, things sometimes may look blurred and we may seem clueless where we are going.
But during such times I have learnt to fix my eyes on my Lord Jesus and fear no evil and have felt God's rod and staff comfort me!
When we trust God and His Word during the most difficult time, He will be with us, comfort us, teach us, direct us, protect us.
So, I would like to encourage you, do not fear evil, do not be tired of the difficult valley walks, we need to just look around and see, the most refreshing streams, beautiful flowers, greenery is found there and above all, the voice of our Lord is loud when you are down there as it echos!
And the lessons God teaches us down in the valley and the beauty seen there helps us in our mountain top walks with our Lord.
Lysa TerKeurst writes, "In the wilderness we can often: See His miracles more clearly. Feel His presence more intensely. Worship Him more authentically. Obey Him more sincerely."
When we endure our test and keep holding on, we will come out stronger, refined, more wiser and will have testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness!
We serve a faithful God!
He never left me for a second. Yes, there were times I thought God was nowhere around and wandered away, fell but when I called out to Him, He showed up as He was there watching my back.
He streched out His hands to rise up, steady my steps and helped me to walk on on this journey.
No matter what He was there, He has wiped my tears and silenced voices that discouraged me.
He has given family, loved ones and friends who loved me, trusted me, prayed for me and encouraged me.
In this life's journey i have meet different kinds of people. There were times I have been angry and upset with people who upset me. But slowly learnt, not to allow those who are rude, don't treat me right, ignore me, talk behind my back, steal my joy! Today I thank God they crossed my path as Gid used them to test my patience, my character and polish me!
God teaches to forgive people who hurt us, pray for those who mistreat us and not keep record of wrongs done not hold any hard feelings against them! It is hard, we need God's grace to do that. God gives us strength to forgive and ask forgiveness when we offend.
If I stand today it is all because of my Lord Jesus who never gave up on me.
I know He has good plans for me!
"God is the only one who can make the valley of trouble a door of hope."~writes Catherine Marshall. This is true! God will turn our mourning into dancing! (Psalm 30:11).
Isaiah 35:1, "The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;"
Finally, if I am still alive I believe God wants me to do His will.
People often ask me why I write what I write. Well, I write not because I am a great writer or what I have to say is very powerful, inspiring, encouraging or profound, but because I can't help but write about the ONE who changed my life at the age of 21. His Name is Jesus Christ. He is my Saviour and He sure is The ne I look up to and the most inspiring and encouraging Person I have ever known and His thoughts are so profound!
Been His follower ever since.
The journey continues...
