WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Prayer walk~Jericho March

Hi..
Greetings...
What is Prayer walking?
As its name implies “Prayer walking” is praying while walking. It sounds simple doesn’t it? That’s the wonder of prayer walking; it is simple. But don’t underestimate the power of prayer walking.
Fransis of Assisi went through the streets of Italy singing, preaching, praying and fasting until 1000's of youth were saved.

Someone described prayer walk as:
Quote:
 •Walking with God
 •Being a Prayer Warrior
 •Intercessory prayer
•Being sensitive to the Word of God by His Spirit
•Praying in response to what you see and hear
 •Seeing through God’s eyes
 •Steps of faith and obedience
 •Praying on-site with insight.

Prayer walks can be can be done alone, but many find that their prayers are more focused when expressed with a friend, families, and small groups. Even if two or three gather God's there in their midst.
We can walk through our neighborhood, city or any street /lane/ area the Lord leads us to and pray.
Even our daily morning/evening walks, walk to the bazaar can be our prayer walk.
Prayer walkers need to be fully armored, be prepared, pray with a purpose and pray with results. Let's pray with God’s Spirit, inviting Him to accompany us, let Him guide our steps and our words. Let's pray God's Word and read Scripture aloud and pray with purpose!
We can pray for God to open doors of communication soon.
If someone should ask what we are doing, we can explain “We’re praying God’s blessing on the neighborhood. Is there anything we can pray for you or others?”
We need to be persistent.
A very unique and touching model of prayer adopted by our Royal Kids Prayer Ministry(in Chennai), where they go around the neighborhoods, early in the morning every day in pairs even the two and three year old kids, joining in the Jericho march to pray.
"Jesus, I claim this area for You.
Jesus, I claim this family for You.
Jesus, I claim the children in this home for You. Bless them.
Read more here:
God's raising an army of kids who are cast away by the world to praise and Worship Him and intercede for the Nations..
Pray the Lord will raise up more kids like these.

Someone else wrote: Quote:Prayer walks can be as short as a block or as long as many miles. The idea is to use the five senses—sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch—to increase the intercessor’s understanding of prayer needs.

For example, if you walk through your neighborhood looking for things to pray about, you might come across a yard that is extremely untidy and rundown. This might prompt you to pray for the health, both physical and spiritual, of the residents inside. Some groups prayer walk around schools, prompting prayer for the teachers and students inside, for their safety and peace, and for the schemes of the devil in their school to be thwarted. Some people feel they can concentrate and direct their prayers more effectively by walking near the people and places they are praying for.

Prayer walking is a relatively new phenomenon, the origin of which is not clear. There is no biblical model for prayer walking, although since walking was the major mode of transportation in Bible times, clearly people must have walked and prayed at the same time. However, there is no direct command that prayer walking is something we should be doing. To believe that prayers offered in any setting, or while in any position, are more effective than those offered at another time or in another manner is not scriptural. In addition, while we may feel we need to be close to a location or situation to pray more clearly, our heavenly Father, who is everywhere at all times, knows exactly what needs are present and will respond to them in His own perfect will and timing. The fact that He allows us to be part of His plans through our prayers is for our benefit, not His.

We are commanded to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and since walking is something we do daily, surely part of praying without ceasing is praying while walking. God hears all prayers offered by those who abide in Christ (John 15:7), regardless of time, place, or position. At the same time, there certainly is no command against prayer walking, and anything that prompts us to pray is worthy of consideration. Source: http://www.gotquestions.org/prayer-walking.html#ixzz2NfhMkb1X
Let's make our daily walks a prayer walk..
Be blessed,

THE NATIONS FOR YOUR INHERITANCE~by: Gwen.R.Shaw

THE NATIONS FOR YOUR INHERITANCE

Scripture Reading -
Psalm 2:1-8 "Ask of me and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."
( Psalm 2:8)

That is My truth to you. All you need to do in order to be mighty in the nations, is to "ask Me."
But first you need a vision and a desire for the nations. Many of My children are very self-centered. They have no burden nor concern, nor love, nor interest in the nations. They live their lives around themselves and their immediate families.

But if you will be My true follower, you will see your neighbor through My eyes, and you will take pleasure in learning to know your generation, even though it is of another color or creed .
I love the nations. I put the bounds around them.
All the nations come from their forefather Noah (Genesis 10:32). And so, because Noah is your forefather also, you are related to all the nations. Abraham, who is your spiritual father, is the father of many nations (Genesis 17:4,5). So you are related also to many nations by the Spirit.
This is the day when no nations are afar off. Any one can be reached in a few hours. Every nation affects another nation. Something happening in the most remote nation will affect many lives in many nations in a few hours. Even small nations can shake kingdoms, e.g., Israel, Lebanon, Guyana, Nicaragua, Cuba, Vietnam, etc.

Lift up your eyes upon the nations. The treasures of Heaven are the beautiful people of the nations. I want to bring them in before the dreadful day of the outpouring of My wrath. Some of these small nations will cease to exist after the judgment of My wrath, as recorded in the Book of Revelation. So go to them now. Pray for them now. Ask Me to give you the treasures of the nations.

They can be your possessions - if you so desire.

The nations are as the colors of the rainbow. Claim them as your own. Be adorn ed by the gemstones of the nations. You can have all that your heart desires: the mountains of Switzerland, the canals of Holland, thee Great Wall of China, the deserts of the Sahara, the alabaster cities of America, the paddy-fields of Taiwan, the oil wells of Arabia, the sheep folds of New Zealand, the coal mines of Wales, the castles of England, the fashion houses of France, the gemstones of India, the cattle ranches of Argentine and the gold of South Africa.

It's all yours! Ask of Me, and I will give you the utter most parts of the earth for your possessions, and you will truly have a reason to praise Me.

God speaks.....

This is another favorite scripture of mine!
PSALM 42:1 "As a deer pants for streams of water, my soul pants(longs) for you O God."
As a deer's life depends on water, so our lives have to depend on God. And God will speak to those who take time to listen to Him.
He confides in those who fear Him.
Psalm 25:14
The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
Let's not get too busy that we fail to spend time with our Lord.
When we go into our prayer closet...let's forget about ourselves and things around us.
Let's love Him, Praise Him, Worship Him,
Let's empty ourselves and crucify our desires and plans.
Let's thirst for HIS anointing, hunger to know HIM better everyday.
Then we will be surely refreshed in our spirit...
And then we need to quieten ourselves in His Presence...and let God minister to us.
Being still in His presence
Let's have a blessed time at the Lord's presence today...
Read His Word, Meditate on it, Praise him, talk to Him and let's not forget to listen to what our Lord Jesus Christ has to tell us.
O how Jesus loves fellowship...God created man so that He could fellowship with Him and that's why He enjoyed His walks with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. He talked with them daily.
PROVERBS 3:32 "He takes the upright into confidence."
Let's desire this intimate relationship with our Creator and Saviour...
Be Blessed...

Knowing relationship...

Hi...
✿One may have an idea who Jesus Christ our Lord is from what they hear the world say He is!
One can form positive or negative opinions on Him from what they hear and read!
✿But what's really important is to personally know Him as our Lord and Savior and He should know us as His own!
✿If anyone does not enjoy this personal relationship with God it's time to get to know Jesus Christ, The only Way, Truth and Life. We sure don’t want to hear Him say on that great day, “I do not know you"
•.¸¸.♥ Matthew 25:12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

•.¸¸.♥ Luke 13:24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ 26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ 27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ 28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. 29 They will come from the east and the west, from the north and the south, and sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And indeed there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last.”
✿The Pharisees knew the law so...well seen Jesus do miracles, heard Him preach but could not understand who He was.
•.¸¸.
♥Luke 11:52 “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.” 53 And as He said these things to them,[a] the scribes and the began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things, 54 lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Him in something He might say, that they might accuse Him.
The More we read God's Word (THE BIBLE)
The more we'll love it's Author.
The more we meditate on His Word...
The more we'll know Him.
Let's enjoy a knowing relationship with our Savior.
•.¸¸.♥ Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you.
Knowing Him better everyday...

Little light can make a BIG difference....

Hi
Let's not think that a little light cannot make any difference because there is so... much of darkness around.
Remember even one candle can light up a dark room.
A little light sure can make a BIG difference...
We can reflect "The Light of our life~Our Lord Jesus Christ" so that others see our Savior and are drawn to HIM through the "little things" we do and say.

Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Let's God's Light shine on your face this day.
Psalm 4:6
Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.
Isaiah 60:1
"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.

God Bless You!
Julia

Walking in the Light...

The Bible says in....
1 JOHN 1:7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
God wants to fill our hearts & mind with HIS sunshine and dispel the gloom & darkness sin brings in our lives.
Any area of neglect, any selfish attitude, any sin, if confessed, let's the light shine bright...
So let us keep walking in the light Christ sheds our way....
Living and walking in fellowship with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit  is the only way to have true peace, joy and eternal life..
Be blessed...

My Testimony!

Hi family and friends,
God's Word says in Revelation 12:11
They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

Life is not a bed of roses. We all go through times of pain, tears, loss, etc, but our God sure can turn these situations for our good.
We go through testing times so that we can testify of God's goodness in our lives.
In April 2012 I started suddenly getting pain in my lower back, it slowly increased with passing months, I found it hard to sit for more than 10-15 mins, even walking 15 mins would send shooting pain above my knees and back. There was a slight bulge in my lower back.
Then in July went to see an Orthopedic doctor who checked my back and said there seemed to be a problem in the lower 3rd and 4th vertebrae, and said these 2 vertebrae had bulged out because it had degenerated and advised me to get an MRI done. When I  got the report doctor looked at it and said, " This is a Degenerative disc problem, it is a spinal condition caused by the breakdown of your inter vertebral discs. The gel in the discs between the lower 3rd and lower 4th vertebrae has dried up and now these vertebrae are like dead and when you move the nerve gets pinched between these vertebrae and strains the spinal cord and this is causing the pain. Now you have to make life style changes. You have to take care otherwise surgery will be the option after a couple of years."
(as he's saying this, I am saying in my mind.."No Lord it's not dead.")
And then he gave me a list of things to do and not to do like...
1) No sitting on one position for more than 20 mins.
2) No lifting weights..
3) Wear a belt at all times.
4) Go to a physiotherapist for a month and learn some back strengthening exercises and do it daily,
and the list went on..:)
That night the Lord reminded me of Ezekiel 37: 4 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord."
And then the choice was before me, "Whose report do I choose to believe?"
I was doing my exercises daily, following the doctor's advise and holding on to God's Word and believing.
But the pain kept coming now and then.
Then in October I decided to go to Coimbatore for 3 weeks, where my sister is a doctor and take some rest at her place.
It's said, when we are down and in pain and if in our heart we are in communion with God, He will send His encouragement in unusual ways.
In Coimbatore one night when I was resting on the couch, I heard
this powerful song on the television. It's a tamil song but do listen!
The singer was Gersson Edinbaro, singing Ezekiel 37, suddenly these words came out alive to me even as he sang "Pesu, Pesu (Speak, speak)speak life, speak God's word, His power,
these are days when dry bones will come together, weak knees will be strengthened,
the crooked will be made straight, rough paths will be leveled.
So speak, speak nerves will be formed, bones will come together and flesh will be formed. And with the breath and Word of God life will come within you."
Just as I was listening to the words of this songs, felt God's power and it encouraged me to speak God's word (Ezekiel 37:1 to 10) into my physical condition and I was back in Mumbai in November and it was in January '13 I realized slowly but surely, healing had come to my bones as I had stopped wearing my belt since December and was hardly doing my exercises.
So I thanked God I was with out pain for nearly 2 months now. The pain was gone but the slight bulge in the lower back remained.
On Sunday January 27th, I shared this testimony to few of our sisters in Church.
Monday 28th went for a night prayer and the next morning(29th, Tuesday) got a drop till a toll naka close to our place around 5.30 AM.
From there I took a rick home. The auto was going on high speed hit on something, there was a huge jerk, I was thrown up on my seat and when landed on the seat I felt my spinal cord literally shake and started getting a severe pain in my lower back and I thought, "If only I had worn my belt..."
Then I said.."No Lord this cannot happen...I don't want this pain again."
I got home did not tell anyone anything, after kids and Leslie left for work, I was lying in bed crying and telling God..."Lord You had healed me, now if the enemy had meant this for my bad, turn this for my good Lord, just don't want this pain Lord."
I was listening to this above song and claiming God's Word.
The next morning when I got up there was no pain.
I just stood up rubbed my lower back I was shocked I could not feel that bulge! God had set right my 2 vertebrae.
What doctors said was impossible, God made it possible Glory be to our God on High!
I thank God for all who prayed for me and encourage me.
Philippians 1:3, "I thank my God every time I remember you."
God is good! All Glory be to Him alone!
There is power in the Word of God!
Be blessed.

Encourage one another...

Abba Father..★Today..
Help us to serve you faithfully..
Help us not to look back to hear man's praise..
Help us not to be discouraged if people pass by us and fail to notice us...
Help us to be true in all we do and say...
You order our steps O Lord...
Let your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path...
In Jesus Name
Amen

Hi...family n friends...
Greetings .
Words of appreciation, love, compliments, encouragement cost us nothing to give but sure is priceless to receive.
Let's..Reach out to the lost and help the hurting.
life is short.
PRAY AT ALL TIMES FOR ALL THINGS!
Let's sow, bless, encourage and move on..our reward is in Abba Fathers hands....
MAY WE LIVE AND SERVE FOR THE MOMENT WHEN HE SAYS "well done my good and faithful servant"
★Romans 12:8 If it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
★1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
`*✶♥We need to appreciate, encourage, exhort and value the people in our life. We got to learn to see the good in people around us and compliment them!
`*✶♥Every individual has some 'good' in them.
Family, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ , pray for us and with us, encourage us and help us in our spiritual walk as we tread this narrow path together.
Even Employers need to compliment their employees even for a small achievement. This will motivate them to work better!
God Bless each of you....
JESUS LOVES YOU SO.....MUCH!
DON'T LET THIS world suck you away.
The darkness is rising. ARISE AND SHINE YOU LOVERS, you laid down lovers. COME BACK TO YOUR 1ST LOVE...JESUS CHRIST YOUR SAVIOR.
Come into your identity as a child of the King of Kings, The Most High God.
Remember "YOU ARE ROYALTY", "AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST" start living like it.
IF GOD IS FOR US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US.

Julia
Sometimes our light goes out but is blown into flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who rekindled this light.

Those who sow in tears will reap in joy..

Hi family and friends..
Greetings...
Tears shed at our Lord's feet is never in vain.
Tears move God's heart. Tears are usually associated with women but men cry too!
When we are overwhelmed with joy, pain, sadness, separation,
our eyes swell up with tears.
The Bible says...
PSALM 126:5 Those who sow in tears
will reap with songs of joy.
But here I write about the tears of a praying woman.
The tears of a woman who prays (that may be our mother, grand-mother, wife, sister, friend) can do wonders.
When a woman cries out to God (well He'll listen to the cries of men too) God's heart is moved. He keeps a record of every tear.
PSALM 56:8 "Record my lament;
list my tears on your scroll
are they not in your record? "
These tears shed at the Lord's feet can result in healing of the sick, bring restoration, save a prodigal son, a rebellious daughter or change a spouse who's an alcoholic or a friend struggling with an addiction.
Jesus Christ our Lord, cares for all that concerns us. When we are discouraged and feel no one understands let's remember our Lord keeps even a record of our tears.
Isn't that comforting?
PSALM 39:12 "Hear my prayer, O LORD,
       listen to my cry for help;
Even as we sow in tears we'll reap in joy!!
As we bow down before HIM & lay our burdens at His feet with tears, we'll rise up with joy!!
Tears move God's heart.
In Luke 7:10-15, we see a widow cry over the death of her only son and Jesus was touched and told her not to cry and raised her son from the dead.
Luke 7:13 "When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."
14 Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" 15 The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother."
Today when we cry about situation that may seem dead and lifeless to us, God will give us hope by giving life and reviving that situation.
Again in Luke 7:36-43, we see a woman who lived a sinful life came and sat at the feet of JESUS and wet His feet with her tears.
Luke 7: 37 "When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, 38and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping,
she began to wet his feet with her tears.
Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them."
People around her did not understand but Jesus seen her repentant heart, her love and noticed every tear she shed at His feet.
Luke 7:44 "Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."
Today let's take all that burdens us to our Lord in prayer. Let's cry out to Him and He will hear us, He will help us and give the desires of our hearts.
Be blessed,
YSIC,
Julia
