This is the day that the Lord has made,
Let's rejoice and be glad in it.
I was blessed to read this Scripture this morning.
John:13 : 34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
Jesus says, Christ like love will show us we are His disciples.
Such love can bring unbelievers to Christ and keep believers strong and united in a world that is hostile to God and things concerning God.
Jesus was and always is a living example of God's love and we are to be imitators of Christ.Ephesians 5:1 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children
2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
His love for us lead Him to the The Cross for our sakes.
Our love for others should be a love that goes beyond affection, to see them as Christ does and love them and bless them with self sacrificing service.
1 Peter 4: 8 "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."As we wait expectantly for Christ's coming, let's grow in our love for God and for others.
It's easy to recognize Christ's love.
Chris's love in us helps us to love even those who hate us and keep praying for even those who mistreat us.
Our talents, our gifts, our status, our possessions, our riches, our education mean nothing if we do not have Christ's Love in us.
We'll be spending our eternity with God, angels and people, so let's do all we can with our talents to lead people to the Kingdom. It's when Christ's love rules & reigns in our hearts, people will see Christ in us.
Let all know we are His disciples.
REAL LOVE IS ACTION NOT FEELING.
1 John 3: 18 "Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."The love the world offers is so often deceptive.
Let Christ selfless love fill our heart so that we can continue to love, give & serve expecting nothing back.

oh yes sis,,oh yes,,ya know at walmart, at the register, a girl was so rude and finally i was a rude back,,i cant stop asking God to forgive me,,i is not like that,,but something blew and i did,,and i feel so hurt about it,,i need to go there and apoligize to her,,then i will feel so much better,,even though it wasnt bad ,,just a little rudness is not showing Jesus's love,,and i really is sick of it...great post sis and so very true,,love you ,,vee
