WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Let us watch our words...

The Bible says in Psalm 141:3 "Set a guard over my mouth, O LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips."
Foolish, loose talking, cracking coarse jokes seems to be OK in today's world. But God's Word warns us in Ephesians 5:4 "Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving." How can we praise and worship God and with the same mouth crack coarse jokes? Even listening and being entertained by such jokes sure offends the Holy Spirit. It's time to draw a line. It's time to take a check of what comes out of our mouth.
Matthew 15:11 “What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean.'" So it's time to watch what comes out of our mouth. Are our words pleasing to God? Let's be careful not to speak carelessly.
Because we read in Matthew 12:36 "But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgement for every careless word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted and by your words you will be condemned."
Words reveal what's in the heart because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Today, may our prayer be in line with what the Psalmist said in Psalm 19:14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
May our Lord set a guard over our mouths and keep our lips from foolish talks, coarse joking, criticism, condemnation, gossip, slander, evil speaking, complaining, lying, murmuring etc. May our words be always gracious, seasoned with salt. May ourwords bring healing to the wounded, hope to the hopeless and bind the broken, help to lead the lost and wandering souls to the Lord.
God's Word says in Proverbs 12:18 that "Reckless words pierce like asword!" but "Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious," Ecclesiastes 10:12.
Let's start confessing and proclaiming God's Word and possessing what's rightfully ours. There’s power in confessing scriptures! Let's speak the Word over every situation we face. When we speak and confess God's Word, mountains are moved and doors open and crooked paths are made straight. What do you desire to see happen. Loved ones saved? Marriage restored? Prodigals return?Children to be on fire for the Lord? Healing of a loved one? Breakthrough in business and finances? Promotion in job? Loved ones saved?
In Jesus Name it's already done and finished! Just need to find a scripture from God's word, hold on to it firmly and confess it and stand on it, believe and receive it.
Let's watch our words.
Have a blessed day...
Julia
