Be still and listen!

🌸Have you noticed #LISTEN and #SILENT are two words with the same alphabets but are very important for any vital relationship.

🌸🌿 Sometimes we fail to hear what others say because our mind is cluttered by the noise around and eyes and ears on the mobile or computer screens that we fail to be silent and listen.

🌸🌿 Even to hear God we got to be silent.

In the stillness we can hear our Lord's voice when we enjoy the right relationship with Him.

When we read God's Word we hear Him.

🌸🌿 Let us be silent and listen to HIS voice.

🌟 PSALM 46:10,"Be still, and know that I am God;"

🌟 James 1: 19, "So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath." 

 🍀 William Penn writes,“In the rush and noise of life, as you have intervals, step home within yourselves and be still. Wait upon God, and feel His good presence; this will carry you evenly through your day’s business."

🌸🌿 May we never fail to listen to people around and God's voice as we walk through this weekend. 

🌸🌿 May we deliberately turn off the noise and sounds of the world around to be still and listen to God and people.

Slow down, Look around

Sometimes we take life seriously,

💫that we forget to smile,

💫don't laugh like a child,

💫 Fail to see the heart of people around.

💫Fail to see the beauty of God's creation.

💫Today let's take time to do some simple things, we usually take for granted or fail to do.

At the Cross

🌹 Once (decades back) I heard Someone was in love with me so much, that He chose to die to save me!
🥀 I heard He was beaten up, stripped, disgraced, nailed to the cross & finally died for me.
🥀 I doubted if someone would do that, until I saw the proof on the Cross of Calvary! 🌹
🥀 He died but death couldn't hold Him down!🌹
🌹 And you know what
He did that not just for me!
❤️ John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
🌹 His Name is Jesus Christ!
How Blessed I am to know Him as my Savior!
My story is His Story!

Like a Rose ..

🥀 When we compare our pitiful, stressful, painful, natural, temporary circumstances and scars to what our Lord JESUS CHRIST endured to go to the Cross and on the Cross and His scars, there’s nothing to compare! 

🥀 He was crushed, wounded, shed His every drop of blood for us and never once complained!

🥀 Jesus Christ our Lord is the "Rose of Sharon" who was crushed for our sins!

🥀 It does not matter how deep our pain or hurt.. .

🥀 It does not matter who rejects, accuses or scoffs at us...

🌹 Let us keep our eyes fixed on the One who went through it all and so will understand it all....!

🌹 He is our Savior, Redeemer, Healer and He is the Glory and Lifter of our head!

🕊️ Time to take our ears off Satan's lies and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ our Lord and His Word, and walk in His ways!

🌷🍃 Song of Songs 2:1 "I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys."

🌷🍃 Isaiah 53:5 "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."

🌷🍃 Galatians 6:14

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Work Diligently!

God's Word says in

🌿🌸Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."🌸🌿

🍀Each of us have jobs to do, have responsibilities, and if we do what we do faithfully as unto the Lord, it will bear good fruits. 

🍀Family relationships, providing for them, doing our duties diligently is important in God's eyes. (1Timothy 5:8).

🍀Today it is good to remind ourselves that God is with us, watching over us. Let us do all we do faithfully, we will be rewarded. 

 🌸🌿Ephesians 6:7 "Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, 8 because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free."🌸🌿
