WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Our Heavenly abode...

Are we looking forward to our eternal home in heaven?
🌺 2 Corinthians 5:1" For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed; we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."
Our Blessed hope is, Jesus Christ our Lord will take us to this Heavenly abode He has prepared for us!
He is the way to this Home! (John 14:6)
So let not our hearts be troubled.
🌺 John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

What a hope & assurance that gives!

The "Best Journey" will be the one that takes me "Home"

The "Best Journey" will surely be the one that takes me to my real, everlasting "Home"!
This world is my temporary residence, I am just passing through!
Philippians 3:20 "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,"
Our Lord Jesus Christ said,
John 14:2 "In My Fathe’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

He said so because He is that way to our home above and to Abba Father!
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
It is a beautiful place for sure!
1 Corinthians 2:9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—
Revelation 22:1-5 "Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever."
Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
Matthew 25:34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."
Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
May we be found worthy to enter this eternal Home!

IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE: A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE!   Posted By: Henry Falcone

Subject: IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE: A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE!
Date Posted: 07/19/2014 at 9:41am

Beloveds of the Lord,

This morning as I was meditating upon the Lord, I kept hearing 'in my Father's house." Over and over did I hear those words. As I did, the Holy Spirit began to remind me of the different parts of the Jewish wedding historically. As I did, a Glorious picture unfolded before me. I began to see Jesus working on building the room, the wedding chamber, connected to His Father's house. It was beautiful because He had gone to prepare a place for us. Then I heard, that "where I am, you shall also be."

One of the most beautiful part of a Jewish wedding and customs in the time of Jesus is that when a couple got betrothed the "future husband" under the Ketubah part of the marriage agreement would go away to his father's house for about a year and build a new home for his bride "connected and built right next to His Fathers' house and then bring his bride there to BE WITH HIM!

"This house or room was directly connected to His Fathers house for as a "full grown son" with all the benefits of his craft and trade he could now work in complete harmony, full trained along with His father in the family business bring His Bride unto Himself.

It was also a Bridal chamber where he was making it so beautiful for her to come for 7 days of the wedding ceremony time to consummate their marriage and then dwell there with her for eternity of eternities as the Bridegroom with His bride. This wedding chamber in the “Father’s house” was a dwelling place to make their new home forever IN THE FATHERS HOUSE!

This is so important of us to understand for the word of God says, “In HIM we LIVE and MOVE and HAVE our Being.” Acts 17:28
After the celebration of the 2nd part of the Jewish wedding feast is over the bride now becomes an intregal part of the Husband’s family and they live together there in His Father’s house.

This is why the Bridegroom had to pay such a high price of a dowry to the Bride’s family, because the “usefulness” she had to her own family would be lost and all that she would now give would be to her husband and his family. The dowry  “payment” was to “compensate” for the loss of her value to her family.

Jesus paid that price for us and redeemed us from the world and bought us with His precious blood to “pay for our sins” and to bring us into His house. Jesus paid the price to pay for our “usefulness to the law sin and death and the world and free us from it.". He had to pay the price by his death and resurrection to take us out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His marvelous light. To bring us where? To the Father’s House!

In ancient Jewish times a betrothal of about a year under a Ketubah agreement was made. This helps us understand Jesus’s words when He says in John 14:1-4, "Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also. And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.
In the Jewish custom of the wedding, "The groom then departed, but not before he assured his bride with the promises of building a home for her and returning to complete the marriage ceremony.  He usually took a year to prepare her new home which often consisted of an addition built onto his own father's house. In studying the history of the Jewish wedding it is said:

" A centuries-old family marriage tradition provided that sons would add rooms onto the father’s house when they married so the couple could remain a part of the father’s family. If a young Jewish man took an interest in a Jewish girl, he would first go to his father to ask permission. The groom’s father and the prospective bride’s father would meet to discuss terms of the marriage.  After fathers of the prospective bride and groom entered into a marriage agreement and the groom paid the bride-price, the community regarded the couple as betrothed."

When the marriage ceremony finally concluded (possibly up to one year after the engagement), the groom left his bride with her family. The groom returned to his father’s house and built a room onto his father’s house where he and his new bride would live with the rest of the family. The prospective bride stayed home and the family women taught her how to be a good wife and mother, according to Jewish traditions.

When the bridegroom completed adding a room onto his father’s house, he would return to his bride’s house (usually at night) to retrieve her. Then the groom would take his bride back to their new home, “that where I am there you may be also.”
What a beautiful picture that for a year the "husband to be" had to go away expediently so he could come back and get her and then bring her "to the place' where He made for the TWO OF THEM TO LIVE TOGETHER in their own house but ONE CONNECTED WITH THE BRIDEGROOMS FATHERS HOUSE

Beloveds they were two different homes yet in the same house. The bridegroom made a new room, a new home for them to dwell together in the Father’s house. The new couple would be added to the purpose and plan of the Father for the Son had to learn the trade of the Father to carry on the family business. The bride and grooms room was separate but in total submission to the plan of the Father that was passed down from generation to generation.

I think we can see what we lost of the Father’s heart today in most marriages. This is why their is such an attack of the enemy because he hates marriages. He tries  to end them, not have people do them anymore, or pervert them by same sex marriages. Why? Because it is a picture of our life IN CHRIST and our RELATIONSHIP with Jesus IN THE FATHER AND HIS HOUSE!

The one function and purpose as a new family of the bride and groom was to become their own family  but still connected to the Father's house and a vital part of that family to bring forth the family purpose and plans. .

What a spiritual picture that is of what the Lord is doing in our midst. This is the season where he has come back to bring us where? To where He is! To where He dwells, to the Secret Place of the Most High God.He has come to connect us IN HIM to be one even as He is IN the Father and the Father is in Him, but we would be ONE with them

John 17:20 " Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word andteaching,21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.

I am beginning to see why it was necessary for the Bridegroom to go and “prepare a place for us, so when I come back, I can take you so WHERE I AM YOU WILL ALSO BE! There is a spiritual place of “abiding” that must be In Him, where He is! This abiding place is first and foremost important before he sends us to the world so they can see Him in us.

One of my Spiritual Fathers in the Lord would say, “Coming always proceeds going or doing:  In Matthew 10 He choose the twelve that they "come and be with him and then sends them out.”

John 15 speaks of this “coming to be with Him and in Him as the condition of true fruit bearing. As we ponder the work of what the Holy Spirit invasion is doing, what I see is it’s first and most vital work is to reveal in us, our need to CONTINUE TO ABIDE IN HIM as the first foundation to our true spiritual life. Everything flows from the fact that we are in Him first before the Christ in us can be seen and experienced fully.

John 15:I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].

Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show andprove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

In this place of abiding with Him and in Him we are safe and secure. Psalm 91 teaches us the importance of us being IN HIM! Psalm 91  1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!3 For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. under the shadows of the Almighty so we can say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God in Him will I trust.

This is the new home the Bridegroom has built for us and the joy of our marriage supper of the lamb. What great joy that God brings to us in our hearts as He reveals to us that, IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING!” Acts 17:28.

There is an upward call of the Bridegroom and a shout that is coming forth from at the midnight hour found in Matthew 25:
But at midnight there was a shout, Behold, the bridegroom! Go out to meet him! Why is this important?

Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated).

This is the major symbolism of the Jewish wedding, that God Himself would send His son to pay for our sins, redeem us, purchase us with a price, and then go and prepare a place for us in His Fathers House, build a home there for us Himself so we can live with Him and in Him, We now can live in the fullness of all that the Father’s house is and our place with the Bridegroom in that House. Everything else flows from this

Our identity with and in Christ, our work with and in Christ, our position with and in Christ comes ONLY AFTER THESE TRUTHS ARE ESTABLISHED IN US.

“In Him we live and move and have our being Acts 17:28,” and John 17:1-3 Dwell in me and I will dwell in you, live in me and I will live in you . Just as no branch can bear fruit without ABIDING IN the vine, neither CAN YOU BEAR FRUIT UNLESS YOU ABIDE IN ME!
.

This truth keeps us solid in faith and in right relationship with God lest we get puffed up. Jesus told us “not to rejoice that the devils obey us, but to rejoice that our NAME IS WRITTEN IN THE LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE.”  The power of God, our position in Christ, our identity in Christ, and even Christ in us are important truths that must be revealed in us during this time, but never, ever above our first position of being in Him.

I am writing this for those who are coming into the fullness of God’s plans perhaps for the first time or for a little while so we don’t loose correct perspective of our life being Hidden in Christ. We must remember that our being in Him, our love, our devotion, our service to God must never elevate our hearts with pride in anyway to a place where man takes the glory that belongs to God alone. Our life must be found only In Himwho is eternity itself.Everything we are, everything we have, everything we will be is rooted in us being in Him!

What we are becoming as full grown sons and daughters and what that will all look like must come forth from our being in Him first. We love Him because He FIRST LOVES US! He must be our FIRST LOVE ALWAYS!

The whole Jewish wedding shows us this positionally and everything else comes forth from that as Jesus takes His place as our Heavenly Bridegroom in our hearts living that perfected life  of only to do the will of the Father. This becomes our life as well. Hebrews 10 In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no delight. Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will, O God—[to fulfill] what is written of Me in the volume of the Book.”

This is our inheritance that in Jesus we can now do the will of the Father because we have become one with Him. We are in our Father’s house with Jesus. Jesus has made a way for us to live in Him, move in Him and have our being in Him, so as He is in the world so are we. Praise our God forever more.

AS WE DWELL IN HIM, HE DWELLS IN US and fruit comes forth that remains. . Jesus is the initiator and finisher of our faith and life, not us.  He is the life source of our life, not us. He is the glory and power of God that is in us as we dwell in Him in continual abiding because of the Holy Spirit that is now in us to do that.

Just as the moon can only reflect the glory of sun because the moon itself has no light in it, As we DWELL IN HIM, He dwells in us we become the reflection of his life and light in us that flows out of us to be seen by all God sends us. We become the reflection of His beauty. That is why as a Bride, “we must make ourselves ready.”

What a beautiful picture of the “holy matrimony” and all the Father, Son and Holy Spirit has done to prepare a place for us in our Father’s House. So at the midnight hours a shout comes forth :GO OUT AND MEET THE BRIDEGROOM!  In my Father's house are many dwelling places, if it were not so, I would have told you, but I have come back for you to take you where I am, FOR WHERE I AM YOU SHALL ALSO BE NOW AND FOREVER!

Our Blessed Hope!

Praise God! One day our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, will come on the clouds and take the "Redeemed ones" (His Bride) to His Father's House in Heaven!
He is the way to Heaven! He is The Truth and The Life!
We can learn so....much from a Jewish Wedding!

Jewish Wedding Traditions
Compared to the Relationship between Jesus Christ and his Bride the Church.

The Bride of Christ and the Jewish Wedding Models
By Bill Salus

Jesus said...
John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life, No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Was always captivated by the thought that Jesus told His disciples(BRIDE OF CHRIST),
John 14 :1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
I was amazed to learn as I did a further study that our Lord came to turn the "Hearts of Fathers to children and children to father."(Malachi last verse)!
Heaven is something that all of us who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to look forward to. We have a future and a blessed hope, and no matter how hard and difficult things get in this world, heaven is our final destination. Those who live in the modern world do not catch the full significance of Jesus' promise. This is due to the fact that in His promise Jesus was drawing an analogy from Jewish marriage customs in biblical times. Since this is so, those marriage customs must be examined if one is to grasp the significance of the promise.
That's a blessed hope!
Stay blessed,
Julia

The Rapture and the Jewish Wedding Model...
By I Gordon
The initial stages of the Jewish Wedding Model
It was normally the father of the groom who would initiate the selection of the bride for his son by contacting the woman’s father. Genesis 24 contains a great example of this where Abraham sends his servant to find a bride for his son Isaac[2]. In like manner, the Father has sent the Holy Spirit to receive a bride for His son, the Lord Jesus. And those ‘in Christ’ has been chosen by God for this very purpose! (Eph 1:4)
But things don’t come cheap you know! The father of the bride would then ask what the groom was willing to pay for his bride. Using the example in Gen 24, we see that gifts were given to Rebekah and her family to pay this price (Gen 24:51-53), Jesus had to pay far more for us however! May we never get ‘used to’ what He did!
1 Peter 1:18 tells us of the price which Jesus was willing to pay for His bride. ‘For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed…but with the precious blood of Christ.
Once the bride to be had agreed to the marriage, a contract was written up which gave the responsibilities of each party and the agreed price to be paid. This process was usually completed by the drinking of wine from a shared cup. And even though the marriage ceremony was still to take place in the future, it was now a legal and binding marriage. This completed the ‘betrothal’ phase of the marriage. Now, I’m sure you understand the significance of this, but without wanting to insult your intelligence, let me spell it out anyway. The agreement that Jesus has with His bride is the ‘New Covenant’. At the last supper before going to the cross he spoke of this agreement and shared the cup of wine with His disciples.
Luke 22:19-20 ‘He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.’
Going to prepare a place:
****************************
The groom would at this stage return to his father’s house to prepare a place for his bride and it could be up to a year later (or more if they were ‘betrothed’ as children) before he finally returned for his bride. This of course, is the very promise Jesus gave the Church when He said,
John 14:2-3 ‘In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.’
It was Paul’s concern that during this period, the bride would be faithful to her husband to be, as shown in 2 Cor 11:2 I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.
It is also why James would speak of spiritual ‘adultery’ towards God when the saints become worldly. (See James 4:3-6) It was then necessary for the bride to wait and to be ready for his return. Amid trumpets and celebration, the groom would then take his bride back to his father’s house where the wedding ceremony would proceed.  This fantastic day is described to us in...

1 Thess 4:16-17, "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
Oh Yeah! Bring it on!!!
And that’s where things get interesting…
***********************************************
Well, that’s not to say they haven’t been interesting yet! But I was fascinated to learn that after the ceremony back at the father’s house (which was only attended by a few select guests), there was a seven day feast period where the bride and groom would enter their bridal chamber. Now, if you know anything about Bible prophecy, you will probably have heard of a seven year period set aside at the end of the age called ‘the tribulation’ or ‘Daniel’s 70th week’ (Dan 9:20-27). In fitting with the Jewish wedding model, where the bride was taken back to the home of the groom and hidden in the bridal chamber (Hebrew: ‘chuppah’) for the seven day period, so shall it be with the Lord and the seven year period of tribulation that is to come. The Lord shall return for his bride, to hide her within the bridal chamber at His Father’s house, for that seven year period of wrath upon the earth.

The Huppah/Chuppah
*************************
The second half of the ancient Jewish wedding ceremony, or huppah, is also called the “hometaking.” The original meaning of the huppah was “room” or “covering.”
The chuppah/huppah of ancient times was a special room built in the bridegroom’s father’s home.
The room was eventually replaced by a bridal canopy. The huppah symbolized the new home to which the bridegroom would take his bride. The bride and bridegroom were escorted to the bridal chamber where they would be alone for seven days. The spiritual parallel to the huppah for the bride of Christ begins as we are lifted up off the earth to be taken to our heavenly wedding chamber where we will spend ‘one week’ (seven years), with our Bridegroom/King. While the Bride of Christ is in the Bridal Chamber with Yeshua (Jesus), the rest of the world will be in a time of great tribulation.

An interesting prophecy which I believe relates to this time is in Isaiah 26:19-21“But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead.
Verse 19 is a picture of the resurrection. ‘Your dead will live… their bodies will rise'. We know that at the return of Christ for His bride, there will be a resurrection for those that are alive will not go ahead of the believers in Christ who have died before He returns. No, the dead in Christ shall rise first and then the believers who are alive will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air! (1 Thes 4:17).
Go, my people, enter your rooms (literally: chamber as in KJV & NKJV) and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.
Verse 20 states perfectly what the model of Jewish wedding shows. That is, after the resurrection at the return of Jesus, the bride then enters the bridal chamber. The reason for this time of protection, as stated in the verse above, is because God’s wrath is about to be poured out on the earth. Thank the Lord that we will never experience His wrath![6]
See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer
Finally, at the end of the seven years, the Lord will leave Heaven again as He returns to earth to judge its inhabitants. It is at this stage that the ‘day of vengeance’ is said to be in His heart. (See Isaiah 63:1-6) Then shall come the reign of Jesus on earth in fulfilment of all those who have prayed ‘thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.’

Time for another feast I think!
 *********************************
While the wedding supper of the Lamb has taken place in Heaven[7], there is still a celebration and feast yet to be had in Jesus’ kingdom on earth. You see, the nation of Israel is to be remarried! Check out the footnote for more info.[8]
What a day that will be! A day when the saints of all ages are joined together in celebration of a mighty God… a mighty husband. A day when peace and joy shall reign and tears shall be no more. If I can say one last thing, it would be this – make sure you are there! It has been the plan of God from eternity past that He would have a wife. Don’t miss out on that. Today is the ‘day of salvation’ and God wills that none should perish. If you are a Christian already, then are you living for the Lord? The time is short and the night is coming when no man can work.
I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. (Matt 8:11)
On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine— the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;  he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. (Isaiah 25:6-8)
“Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.  It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. (Rev 21:9-11)
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”  Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. (Rev 22:20)
(Just a quick comment… I’m not Jewish. So while I have tried to find out what I can concerning the Jewish marriage from their encyclopedias, I am in debt to other Jewish Messianic scholars such as Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum and Dr Renald Showers who know far more about their own culture than I ever would. In fact, Dr Renald Showers’ article touches on other aspects that this one doesn’t so you would do well to read through his article found here:
I also want to acknowledge Jerry Dart’s book ‘After the rapture’ as this has a very good chapter concerning the Jewish wedding and its prophetic implications and it has helped in my understanding on this topic. Also the commentaries of H.A Ironside and William Newel on the book of Revelation have helped.)

Then he may go after his bride.Jesus tells us that He does not know when He will come; only His Father knows. We must be alert and ready! For, He is preparing our place now. Be alert: Don't worship idols. Be ready: Do all He asks while you're here. Develop an active prayer life. Offer yourself in ministry opportunity. Keep ourselves from doubt and failure.Mark 13:32-33
4. The Bride Waits: While the groom builds the new home, the bride waits and wears a veil. This shows she belongs only to the groom. She prepares for her wedding by making blankets, etc. She also shows gratitude to her family for raising her and she mends hurt relationships. No matter what, she had to be ready because he would come at night. We must do His will in our daily lives. We must be committed to our ministries at home and church. We must heal wounded relationships and express our agape love to each other. We must exhort! Jesus tells us that He will come like a thief. So, we must be living "His Love" at all times. The church, too, is veiled. The world is not sure who the church is. When we go, it will know.2 Corinthians 11:2 Luke 19:13 1 Corinthians 13:1 Luke 12:40
5. The Bridesmaids: Unmarried friends who attend the bride and provide light for the groom who comes at night. We prepare the bride in our ministry to each other. We groom her. We must be ready in our service and not run out of power or conviction as the bridesmaids did.Matthew 25:1-13
6. The Bridegroom Comes: The grooms'men would run ahead of the groom and shout that he was coming. While the father's head was turned, the groom would steal the bride. The wedding party then went back to the groom's house to meet the guests. The angel, Gabriel, will blow the trumpet of God, and Jesus will come like a thief to snatch away His Bride. When we arrive in Heaven, a host of people will be waiting for us.1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
7. The Bridal Chamber: The bride and groom enter the bridal chamber where the marriage is consummated. The party waits outside until the groom tells the best man that it is consummated. Then, the guests rejoice for 7 days.As John the Baptist was filled with joy when he saw Jesus, so we too shall be filled when we join Jesus in the heavenly bridal chamber. Some liken those 7 days in the chamber to the 7 year tribulation period which we will spend not in agony on earth, but in bliss in heaven. Then we will return as the wife, not the Bride.John 3:29 Revelation 19:7-8
8. Married Life Begins: New coup1e goes to the father's home to begin married life.We too, will go to the Father's house for the Marriage Feast of The Lamb, then go with Christ in His reign in His kingdom here on earth for 1,000 years.Revelation 20:16

Which door will you choose?

Hi family and friends...
It's time to make this choice if there is anyone who reads this, has not made this choice as yet.
IN LIFE WE HAVE MANY CHOICES, BUT ETERNITY HAS ONLY TWO.
HEAVEN OR HELL...

Matthew 25:46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
WHICH ONE DO YOU CHOSE?

IN THIS WORLD THERE ARE MANY PATHS, BUT THERE ARE JUST 2 PATHS THAT LEAD TO ETERNITY.
NARROW OR BROAD...

Matthew 7: 13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
WHICH ONE WILL YOU CHOSE?
There is just ONE WAY that leads to heaven.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
If you have not made this choice, do it today.

Jesus Christ our Lord waits with outstretched arms to hold you and make you His own.
He is the one who will give rest to a burdened soul.
Jesus said..

Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Tomorrow may never be yours.
Choose Eternal life.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 5:24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Escape eternal condemnation and the place of torment by choosing Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Luke 16:23 In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
Let's beware...
Jude 1:4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality anddeny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
God bless you..
