WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Look up to the SON of God!

Let us look up to the SON of God!

If we place flowerpots near the window, we will find the flowers turning towards the sun. It seems they to prefer to look at the light than the darkness within the room.
Even as the flowers turn towards the sun, which is its source of energy, let us look towards the SON of Go, our Lord Jesus Christ for our source of joy and strength. Let the Glory of God reflect on us and through us.
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ."
Isaiah 60:1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
Jesus Christ our Lord was a 'down to earth' person for sure! He came “Down to Earth” on mission from the Father; a mission of love and obedience! He was the 'Almighty One' but walked with humility on earth. His messages were never complicated and often spoke in parables that even a child could understand. Children loved to be around Him. He was 'The Holy One' but never was 'self-righteous'. That is why He wants us to be Holy as He was Holy but never self-righteous. Our righteousness are like 'filthy rags'.(Isaiah 64:6)
1 Peter 1:15-16, "But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
We are to be imitators and followers of Christ! Only when we look up to Him, we can follow Him
Paul writes in ☆ Ephesians 5:1 "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children."
Would it not be terrible if Our Lord Jesus Christ came back for His body and we did not look like Him? May we look up to Him, imitate and reflect Him. He is working on each of us to make us more like Him so that the day we see Him, we will be like Him. We read in 1 John 3:2, "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is."
Our Lord is Holy, He will come back of a spotless, and blameless bride and God's faithful to complete the good work He started in us and perfects us so that the day we see Him we will be like Him.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 "May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
Let us look up to Him and be changed,
Be blessed,

Is anything impossible for God?

Is anything too hard for our Lord?
We may be waiting for our Miracle, breakthrough, healing, deliverance, life partner, a specific blessing for a long time.
Delay is not denial.
Silence does not mean our God has not heard us.
He is working behind the scene, He is preparing a miracle, getting ready to make the impossible possible.
He will come and rescue us, redeem us.
We may have experienced and seen material, spiritual and physical miracles in the past and will keep seeing many.
Today are we in need of a material blessing like, buying a new home/land/car or awaiting a financial breakthrough (an unexpected business venture/a salary raise) or a promotion?
Has this wait been endless and long?
I just want to encourage myself and others by saying, "What seems impossible to us, is possible to our Lord."
Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Are we standing in a place facing an impossible situation?
What we need is out of our reach?
But the Lord brings us to a point where we see no way of provision so that we can look up to Him, for He is the source of our help.
Psalm 121: 1 "I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."
So today if we are facing an impossible situation, can we look up to our Lord?
If He could send ravens to feed Elijah, won't He provide us with what we need?
Be Blessed,

Julia

Waiting to walk through those pearly gates..:)

Revelation 21:21
The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

Abba Father..
Forgive me for the times I have been quick to hate, judge, assume, presume and have told others their worth.
Give me a heart like Yours to love unconditionally and watch my words and thoughts at all times.
May I be a Kingdom builder and may You increase and I decrease.
May I live to please You so that one day I can enter through the pearly gates of Heaven.
May I spend more time in Your presence and know You better every day!
All I have to give up on earth is nothing compared to what I'll inherit in Heaven.
Walking with You is more precious, beautiful and valuable than all the treasures and pleasures this world offers
In Your Son Jesus Christ's precious Name,
Amen

Something thought provoking I read...(see below)
Be blessed..

"We all have some kind of purpose on this earth, It's not to hurt people or tell them their worth. Everyone was put here with an equal chance,
Take a look around you, take a good long glance. Some were meant to heal, and some to teach, Some are used to build, and some to reach.
You may not know your purpose just yet, God will tell you, when he knows you are set. Don't rush your fate, it has already been planned. And God will always be there to lend a helping hand. You will go through times that are really rough, But you will always have someone, when the going gets tough.
Don't judge others, for when you do, There is always someone else, judging you.
Think about things before they are said,
Say your prayers before going off to bed.
Take time just to sit, and observe all things, A flower and it's petals, or a bird and it's wings.
For when you just look at what is around, A new aspect on life could be what you have found.
Live for today, live one day at a time. Live for God and serve others!"

WHAT DOES JESUS SEE ?

WHAT DOES JESUS SEE ?
(A poem...)

When Jesus looks upon my life,
What picture does He see.
Does He see His own reflection,
Or does He just see me.
Does He see His likeness,
The product of His hand.
Or just another Christian,
Who never took a stand.
Does He see a child of God,
A child that He set free.
Living life to honor Him,
Or does He just see me.
What about the other folks,
I meet along the way.
Do I show them Jesus,
To brighten up their day.
When someone looks into my eyes,
Can they truly see.
That calm and gentle peace of God,
That dwells inside of me.
When I reach out and shake a hand,
Is He right there in my grip.
Can they feel that strength from God,
That steadies when I slip.
When folks are in my presence,
Do they know His Spirit's there.
Can they see that He's the One,
Who guides me everywhere.
When other people think of me,
What is on their mind.
Do they think of Jesus Christ,
So gentle and so kind.
I try to be like Jesus,
Every single day.
Spreading love and kindness,
All along my way.

I'm afraid that I have failed,
I could not pass the test.
Deep inside my heart I know,
I haven't done my best.
I have had to fight my flesh,
Since the day that I was born.
It's always causing trouble,
And being such a thorn.
That's why His Spirit dwells in me,
He's helping me to learn.
In every situation,
Where I need to turn.
He knew I'd never pass the test,
That's why He took my place.
He gave His life to save my soul,
He suffered my disgrace.
Now I try to be like Him,
I must present Him well.
So other folks will want His gift,
And turn their backs on hell.
Other folks should see the joy,
That Christ has given me.
They should want to have it too,
Especially since it's free.
They should begin to ask me,
What is it they must do.
Just how it is they go about,
Getting Jesus, too.
Then I get to tell them,
This wondrous gift is free.
It only takes a humble heart,
A prayer on bended knee.
Someday when I'm face to face,
With the Lord who set me free.
Will He see His own reflection,
Or will He just see me...

After Glow

Quote >"Hours and flowers fade away, But memories and fragrance lingers on. Always leave behind pleasant memories.

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:15 For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. As we walk through this day may the beauty of Christ radiate from us and may we carry His fragrance!
After Glow
I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one.

I’d like to leave an after glow
of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done.
~ unknown~2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Job was blameless and upright...but....

Hi Family and friends,
Greetings from India.
This morning I read the 1st chapter of Job.
Job 1:1 In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.
Job was a man who was blameless and upright but that did not spare him from trials and pain.
Job lost all he had for no fault of his but though he struggled to understand why all those calamities, he chose to trust God no matter what.
Let's too take one day at a time. We too may face trials, pass through painful situations but Job's life can be a source of encouragement to us.
We can choose to trust God instead of giving in to the temptation of questioning God if He really cared.
When Job lost it all, he said,
"Naked I came from my mother's womb,
       and naked I will depart.
       The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
may the name of the LORD be praised."
(Job 1:21)
He did not blame God.
Job 1:22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.
Even when his wife said to him,
"Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!"
(Job 2:9)
He replied,
"You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?"
 (Job 2:10)
He chose to accept God's authority.
Believing in God does not protect us from trouble but when calamity falls, He gives us strength to bear it.
Isa 43:2, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
So when we walk through tough situations let's not question God or give up on HIM.
He never gives up on us!!
God sure is powerful enough to save us from trials but sometimes chooses to let us walk through such situations.
Job passed his test and proved that people can trust God for who HE IS and not just for what HE GIVES!!
Be Blessed,
YSIC,
Julia

Every King was once....

Every King was once a baby,

Every great structure once a blue print,

It's not important where you are today but..

Where you will reach and what you will be that

counts.!

"But you are a chosen people, a royal

priesthood,

a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you

may declare the praises of him who called you out

of darkness into his wonderful light." (1 Peter 2:9)

Be blessed,

Julia
