New Day....New Hope...

This is a new day and it comes loaded with hope!

I know that we all face challenges in life. They are real, often times difficult and tiresome. They can sap us of our strength when we let them consume us.

After a long walk in darkness, even a ray of light gives us hope.

Time and seasons do and will change!

Just need to hold on in faith!

Passing through a difficult season?

May our Lord give us grace to not give up but persevere and praise Him through our trials and lamentations?

It happens in the Psalms all the time.

It happened with Job, and with Paul!

Better things are yet to come!

God enlightens our path!

`*✶ Ezra's life was effective to move others forward was because he not only studied and taught God's Word but obeyed it and applied it in his life.

 ♥Ezra 7: 10 For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the LORD, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel. 

`*✶Let's take out time to read HIS WORD every day. 

His word is like a map that helps us find our way through life,

It keeps our feet from stumbling.

hoping with my heart and soul

or a blanket wrapped around me in winter.

but, as I stand to face whatever the day will bring

I know that your footsteps will never walk the other way...

I had to write this after sitting at the kitchen table this morning. It was quiet. The hour was early and the world was still sleeping. I looked out the window and felt the need to pray. As I did, my eyes misted with tears and although frightened, I knew that I was not alone. I wrote this small poem/prayer to convey the feelings I had, but know that the words do not do it justice. I don't know if any ever will. It's my hope that when you are in need, you "hear" the silent footsteps of God, coming to your side and comforting you like a child. For that's what we all are, to me.

No matter what your age, we are children of God who will never be abandoned by our Father -- no matter what !

Rose of Sharon

Song of Solomon 2:1

 I am a rose of Sharon, 

       a lily of the valleys.

O Lord's the Rose of Sharon and Lily of the valley!

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:15 "For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing."

Spending time in the Lord's presence is like that. When we go to His presence early in the morning & then go about your daily chores, you will carry the fragrance of Christ all day long. 

Not only that we are to walk in God's love & imitate Jesus Christ our Lord. 

Ephesians 5: 2, "...and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."

Our love for others should go beyond affection to self sacrificing service. That's only possible with Christ who lives in us. We need His help every second of our life!

Those who sow in tears will reap in joy..

Hi family and friends..

Greetings...

Tears shed at our Lord's feet is never in vain.

Tears move God's heart. Tears are usually associated with women but men cry too!

 When we are overwhelmed with joy, pain, sadness, separation, 

our eyes swell up with tears.

The Bible says...

 PSALM 126:5 Those who sow in tears
       will reap with songs of joy.

But here I write about the tears of a praying woman.

The tears of a woman who prays (that may be our mother, grand-mother, wife, sister, friend) can do wonders.

When a woman cries out to God (well He'll listen to the cries of men too) God's heart is moved. He keeps a record of every tear.

PSALM 56:8 "Record my lament;
      list my tears on your scroll
       are they not in your record? "

These tears shed at the Lord's feet can result in healing of the sick, bring restoration, save a prodigal son, a rebellious daughter or change a spouse who's an alcoholic or a friend struggling with an addiction.

Jesus Christ our Lord, cares for all that concerns us. When we are discouraged and feel no one understands let's remember our Lord keeps even a record of our tears.

Isn't that comforting?

PSALM 39:12 "Hear my prayer, O LORD,
       listen to my cry for help; 

Even as we sow in tears we'll reap in joy!!

As we bow down before HIM & lay our burdens at His feet with tears, we'll rise up with joy!! 

Tears move God's heart.

In Luke 7:10-15, we see a widow cry over the death of her only son and Jesus was touched and told her not to cry and raised her son from the dead.

Luke 7:13 "When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."

 14 Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" 15 The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother."

Today when we cry about situation that may seem dead and lifeless to us, God will give us hope by giving life and reviving that situation.

Again in Luke 7:36-43, we see a woman who lived a sinful life came and sat at the feet of JESUS and wet His feet with her tears.

Luke 7: 37 "When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, 38and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping,

she began to wet his feet with her tears.

Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them."

People around her did not understand but Jesus seen her repentant heart, her love and noticed every tear she shed at His feet.

Luke 7:44 "Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.

47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."

Today let's take all that burdens us to our Lord in prayer. Let's cry out to Him and He will hear us, He will help us and give the desires of our hearts.

It's how you look that matters.....

Good Morning..

Sharing with you all a thought that blessed me..

"Everything in this world can be seen as you wish to see it...
Good or Bad;

Simple or Complicated;

Easy or Difficult. 
Its not how things are;

It's about how you look up to them. 
...and how you look up to them is all up to you."

Even as I read this thought I realised that it's only when our eyes

are fixed on our Lord Jesus Christ, we are able to see the things around us,

through His eyes.

We can see God's beauty in all the beautiful things He created.

Look at the skies...

Job 35:5, "Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you."
Look at the beauty of nature around..

And let's look at the good things in people we meet!

If God's for us...

How deep can the enemy push us down?

Not deeper than where the hands of our Lord will reach down to reach down to lift us up, He is the Glory and lifter of our heads!

Praise God!

How much of mud can the enemy throw on us and get us dirty?

The Blood of Jesus Christ is powerful to clean us and make us whiter than snow, if we are willing to let Him do so!

Praise God!

How much of hatred can the enemy unleash against a child of God?

The love of Jesus Christ for His own is unbeatable and will satisfy us.

Psalm 90:14

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Praise God!

If God's for and with us, who or what can stand or prevail against us?

God's plan...

✿God's plan for us His children is always good!

★Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

✿God's plan is always to build and plant a nation that walks in obedience to Him. But if a nation does in God's sight and and an individual will deliberately choose to walk away from God to follow his/her ways and plans God will reconsider the good He had planned.

★Jeremiah 18: 9 "And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, 10 and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it."

✿ How can God help a person or Nation that chooses to walk away from God's will and plans?

He does warn n waits for the rebellious to return but if one chooses to follow the stubbornness of his own heart, how can God help? 

★Jeremiah 18: 11 “Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’ 12 But they will reply, ‘It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.’”

✿Blessed are those who wait on God and those who return from following their own plans.

Blessed are those who wait on God, He will satisfy the one whose hope is in Him.

✿But if an individual gets impatient and  pick up that which glitters 'like' gold in this world, God cannot really help!

Let's not trade the BEST God has for us for something that merely looks good in our eyes....

Sometimes we miss God's Highest and Best by looking at things that are not in God's plan for us.

As far as God's concerned there is only one best...the "high calling of God in Christ Jesus"(Philippians 3:14 KJV)

Our God's a Master Potter, Master of total makeovers!

"What the enemy has in his possession he scars because his only agenda is to steal, kill and destroy. But when possession change hands to the Master Potter, Jesus Christ gives a total make over. He knows how to use scarred people. When He gives a make over people will say, "Wow! What happened to you? Who did this to you?"_ Heard Pastor Jentezen Franklin say this on TV. God's Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" When a sinner turns to Jesus with a heart of repentance He does a total makeover. He is like clay in the Master Potter's hands. He knows to use those scarred by addiction, abuse, rejection, rebellion etc. Father always picks up a son who repents and looks at him in compassion and not condemnation.  Romans 8:1"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.." He doesn't shake his finger or cast him out. But lifts him up and says "I love you. I forgive you. Sin no more. It doesn't matter what people say, but I am able by the Blood of my Son Jesus Christ, to wash your sins away." Jesus Christ our Lord takes away the garment of hurt, fear, past failures, guilt, rebellion, depression and clothes them with the garment of righteousness, joy, praise, grace, new mercies. In the parable of the prodigal son, when the son returned home he said to the father, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you." But the father said to his servants,  "Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let's have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again, he was lost and is found" Luke 15:21-24.  Praise God heaven rejoices when the lost are found and when the prodigal returns. This is because God looks past the past sins and failures at the repentant heart. But there is something very important we need to remember, God expects we "sin no more". John 5:14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”  Then again we read about a prostitute by law, she should have been stoned to death. But in silence Jesus started to write on the sand one by one her accusers left. Jesus forgave her, told her, "Sin no more"John 8:11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." In the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, our accuser is silenced. Satan is the the accuser of our brethren (Revelation 12:10). God will one day cast him down. So, let's walk in obedience to God's word and work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). When the prodigal returned the elder brother was not very happy. We read in Luke: 28-32, "older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, 'Look! All these years I've been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!' "'My son,' the father said, 'you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.'Today when Prodigals return home in repentance, some fellow brothers may look with suspicion and may refuse to accept them. But cheer up there's hope in our Redeemer, He accepts a repentant sinner, a backslidden child whole heartily.  If the Son set us free we are free indeed! Let us live as the King's children. He made us more than conquerors. He helps us overcome the sin and temptation that come our way.Time to walk Holy before our God who graciously saved us from the pit of sin. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." 1) Drink plenty of water.  

Water hydrates the skin, helps to reduces little lines and wrinkles, moisturizes skin from the inside out, and detoxes your body to give you a healthy glow.

2) Exfoliate.

Dead skin is dull and flaky. By using a facial scrub at least one a week. You will be getting rid of dead skin cells and uncovering a fresh, glowing face. Even those with sensitive skin can - and should - exfoliate. Just be sure to buy a scrub that is made for sensitive skin types and gently massage the scrub on your face.

3) Moisturize.

All skin types need moisture. If you have very oily skin, there are moisturizers that are made just for you that will actually help cut down on the oil your skin produces. Most importantly, never forget to drench your eye area in moisture. Mature skin needs a heavier cream while younger skin can get by with a thinner preparation. But no matter how old you are or what skin type, find a moisturizer that works for you and use it!

4) Smile!

Life's good. It really is. Sometimes it doesn't seem that way but looking on the bright side is so healthy. Smile and enjoy the time you have with your family and friends. Nothing is more beautiful than a genuine smile on a woman. And nothing is more unattractive then a beautiful, perfect looking woman with a scowl on her face and an attitude to match. Look for the good in life. It's hard for anyone to resist a genuine smile on a face!

° ☾ °☆ ★ The SUN gives us light and is the main source of energy. But Jesus Christ our Lord is The SON, who is the Light of this world and He not only brightens up our life but also is the main source of our life and the Holy Spirit gives us spiritual energy.

° ☾ °☆ ★ And we have many people in our life like 'STARS'.~ Family, loved ones, brothers and sisters in Christ and friends who sparkle and make your life twinkle.

° ☾ °☆ ★ But let's be like the 'Moon' that reflects the Sun's light. Let's reflect The Son's light in the darkest moments of our family, loved ones and friends life and in the darkest corners of the earth.
We are "lights" called to rise and shine for our Lord Jesus Christ and not to be hidden or kept under wraps but need to shine forth( like light houses) so that the lost can find their way home, the struggling can rise up.
