WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Be silent..wait patiently..in His time you will receive what He has prepared for you!

There is nothing good about us apart from the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Anything good that we are or hope to be or anything we hope to receive is only through Him.
Let us wait on Him and for Him to meet our needs and give us the desires of our hearts according to Hi will!
His timings are perfect.
Be blessed,

Our Final destination....

Hi...
~~If we know Jesus as our Savior we also know we on a journey, walking a narrow path and one day will stand before Abba Father in Heaven.
¸.♥John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
~~As long as we live here we are to serve our Lord and use our talents for His Glory.
~~Sometimes we look back at wasted opportunities to serve God.
Instead of looking back, we can start right now to live as Christ wants us to live.
~Let's not waste our time in useless pleasures.
~~When we come to the final hour and stand face to face with God, we will regret for so many hours wasted in self gratification.
~~Let's faithfully serve our Lord.
¸.♥1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."
~~Yahweh is our judge, He is our rewarder and He also fights our battles, take care of our every need and concern when we get busy serving Him.
~~Our destination is Heaven, we are just pilgrims here on earth. Let's fix our eyes on our Savior and follow Him.
Be blessed..

Joy comes in the morning....

  • "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal."~Thomas Moore(1779-1852)
    Inline image 1
God's Word is always a great source of comfort and the Holy Spirit's voice a great source of encouragement and God's presence in and around us, a great source of our strength in midst of testing times.
"Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning"(Psalm 30:5)
The place God's leading us to is beautiful and it is a place He promises to wipe our tears away....
The sufferings in this world are light compared to what is in store for us!!
His Word helps us to endure the trials and testing times of this moment...!
2 Corinthians 4:17, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory."
He will never leave or forsake us, even in midst of our darkest moments, His eyes are on us.

God's Word says in Matthew 10:29-31, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
If not a sparrow falls without God knowing, how much more He will care for us!
Trusting in our Lord Jesus Christ, may not always remove the hurdles we face or make mountains smaller.
But it sure make our running and climbing easier.
We may be walking a desert pathway or on a narrow road,
but when our trust is in our Lord and our eyes are fixed on Him, we know He will finally leads to the beautiful place (Heaven); because He is the author and finisher of our lives!
Be blessed this day and week,
    Julia

May we be still and see God move,,,

God's light can pierce through even in the most darkest moment of our lives...
God's hand reach down to the deepest depth of our despair..
God's healing touch can heal us from sickness and pain for which there is no medication on earth.
Praise God,because our God is Almighty, all powerful, all knowing and all present, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.
Be blessed,
Julia

Noticed this?

Have you noticed this?
If a drop of rain falls on a lake or a puddle or stream; it mixes with it and looses it's identity.
But if it falls on a lotus leaf or lotus, it shines, it stands out!

 This made me think...
The water drop is the same, but it's company makes a difference!

Let's stand out and shine for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The world has to recognize who we are connected to.
We may be weak, helpless but when on CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK WE STAND, all that's HIS IS OURS. HE BECOMES OUR STRENGTH, HE TAKES OVER and NOW IT'S NOT US BUT CHRIST WHO LIVES IN US!
When our life is build on the rock, nothing will move us. We can stand up as strong witnesses for our Lord in this dark world.
▓▒░☆Matthew 7:24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
Let people take note of who we believe in!!
Let our lives reflect our the One who lives in us and let us stand out and shine for Him!
Be Blessed!!!

What God thinks about us is what matters...

Can someone who has not spent a day with us know us better than God does?
Then whose report will we choose to believe?
God’s for sure!
Let's believe in the One who lives in us.
I choose to believe in the One(Jesus Christ my Lord) who saved me 32 years back!
For He knows me inside out. Nothing is hidden from Him.
He knows my entire past that was spent without Him and He forgave me and remembers it no more!
He has watched my every step after I chose to follow Him and was there to pick me up when I fell.
He never ever left me, He is still working on me, I know the day I see Him I will be like Him!
So it’s what our God says or think that really matters!
He loves each of us with an everlasting love!
Let's walk in the love and fear of the Lord!
Keep serving the King...let NOTHING separate you from His love!

Rose of Sharon

Song of Solomon 2:1
I am a rose of Sharon,
       a lily of the valleys.
O Lord's the Rose of Sharon and Lily of the valley!
The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ.
2 Corinthians 2:15 "For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing."
Spending time in the Lord's presence is like that. When we go to His presence early in the morning & then go about your daily chores, you will carry the fragrance of Christ all day long.
Not only that we are to walk in God's love & imitate Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 5: 2, "...and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."
Our love for others should go beyond affection to self sacrificing service. That's only possible with Christ who lives in us. We need His help every second of our life!

Our help comes from the Maker of heaven and earth..

David lived in times when mountains were seen as a place of hiding and security.
Still he chose to lift up His eyes unto the Maker of Heaven and earth.
Psalm 121: 2 "My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth."
Let us too lift up our eyes to The God who made heaven and the earth.
He is all knowing.
He is a prayer answering God!
He listens to us, answers us, helps us to do the impossible, confuses the enemy, enables us to overcome and overtake!
His Word never fails and He is a promise Keeper!
He watches over us!
Glory and honor be to our Lord Jesus Christ!
Blessings...

YES YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS TRIAL ..by:Al Thomas

YES YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS TRIAL ..by:Al Thomas

In the battle. . . feeling overwhelmed?
Maybe this word is for you!
I saw in the Spirit that some are now in the midst of a circumstance so potentially devastating that fear is drawing near. Others worry that they are beyond the point of recovery. Be reminded that you have a Friend who sticks closer than a brother
(Proverbs 18:24) and His adhesiveness is stronger than super glue. Do not agree with the accusations of the devil ( Revelation 12:10).
The enemy has whispered to some: "You are a loser, a failure; you're washed up, never to recover, always to be known as one who didn't measure up to the call.
Some know what David meant when he said "no man careth for my soul" ( Psalm 142:4)
and Job when he wrote
"My soul is weary of life" (Job 10:1).
This mess, this "no way out" dilemma can and will be turned around ( Isaiah 65: 24). God' s view of what is happening is much different than yours . He will restore your soul ( Psalm 23:3), renew your mind ( Romans 12:2) and enlighten your eyes ( Isaiah 35:5). Yes, He will deliver you (2 Peter2:9).
Have all deserted you?
He will not.If you are in the place of despair and heart ache; do not turn away from God, instead:
KNOW THAT GOD HAS ALREADY CREATED A PLAN FOR YOUR RECOVERY
While you're having those occasional thoughts of quitting, keep in mind that God is currently behind the scenes putting thing s back together better than they were before you entered this mess
 ( Jeremiah 29: 11).
Some have asked , " God, how long do I have to stay in this valley before You do something? " That's the wrong question. The right question is, "God, how should I conduct myself while You are working on this thing ?"
The timing is up to God (and the attitude is up to you), but I'll tell you this: It will take no longer than it has to. Not one second longer. God takes no pleasure in you going through this and seeing you suffer.
Yet, He will not waste one of your tears (Isaiah 25:8).
THE DEVIL HAS SAID, "YOU HAVE BLOWN IT BEYOND REPAIR" . . .
THAT IS A LIE!
No matter what the obstacles, no matter how many times you have failed, no matter how big the pit you have fallen into,
His plan for your recovery is sure. (Isaiah 65:24).
Feel like you're being chased by giants?
God doesn't lie and He has promised to deliver you even if giants with twelve fingers and twelve toes are chasing you. (2 Samuel21:22).
"He shall deliver thee in six troubles; yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee" (Job 5: 19).
"Six troubles, yea even seven" is a Biblical idiom or phrase that means no matter how many troubles ( i.e. ka-Zillions) He will deliver you. Get that in your head.
KNOW THAT GOD' S PLAN FOR YOUR RECOVERY IS FOOLPROOF!!
As soon as Peter denied Jesus (John 18:25), God had a plan for Peter's restoration ( John 21:17). This wasn't the first time Peter blew it, and it wouldn't be the last; so it is with each of us (Romans 7:19).
God knew it was going to happen long ago and He made provision for it. You're not going under, you're going through.
Come high water, come fire or come all the demons of hell, the Lord will deliver you.
David wrote
"Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through the fire and through the water: but Thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place"
( Psalm 66:12).
This word wealthy means "rich fulfillment."
Even though the enemy (and even your own mistakes) may have drained you of hope and strength, God will again bring the rich fullness of His presence into your life.
There is no " ifs," "ands," or "buts" about it.
He will do it. Why? He's so madly in love with you it's beyond your comprehension ( Romans 8: 35-39).
RECOGNIZE THAT HIS ANSWER IS ON THE WAY - EVEN AT THE DOOR!!!
When we get discouraged and satan tells us the situation is hopeless, we need to resist (James 4:7) and take a stand ( Ephesians 6:13).
Remember though, no one overcomes by sitting down. Whatever you do, don't start sulking all day and feeling sorry for yourself. Stop with the "should a, could a, would a" stuff , dust yourself off and get back to the business of the Kingdom.
Don't try to figure out how He will help you. Don't imagine that suddenly He will say, "Abra Kadabra" like Houdini.
Oh, yes, He could do an instant miracle and just might, but He wants you to trust Him to do it His way no matter what that may be.
Paul was stoned (and this was on a good day).
His friends supposed he was dead ( Acts 14:19- 21), but the next day he was on the road to preach the Gospel. Some of you feel like you have been stoned, but you will get up like nothing happened.
The enemy likes to whisper to you that things will not change or turn around. Do not listen to him or anyone who speaks with unbelief. Like a bolt of lightning it will hit you that Jesus won the battle for you and you are called to be a conqueror with Him ( Romans 8: 37).
No, you may not feel like a conqueror right now, but Jesus has passed the baton to me and you ( John 20: 21) and He did not promise feelings would always accompany the call.
Rejoice, in all the pain, bewilderment and inner turmoil, God is working to reverse the circumstance and use it for your re-commissioning. You, who thought you were unfit, will re-emerge stronger than ever and the devil will see his work backfire.
Stand up. . .the horizon is before you.
The dawn breaks.
Victory is coming and you are one of His warriors!

Do we yearn for God? By Blake Hamon

Do we YEARN for God?”
BY: Blake Hamon
I’ve been paying a lot of attention to the Psalms, and as I do I attempt to think as David thought. “As a deer pant and thirsts for streams of water, so my soul longs for you O God. My soul thirsts for God. The living God. When can I go and meet with God? (Psalms 42:1-2)”
I don’t question for a moment that we all love to enter into the presence of God with passionate worship…..but do we yearn for Him? Are we ok with not taking time out of our day to sit down with the living God? Are we truly ok with waiting until a Sunday morning or Wednesday night to step into His presence? I’m not talking about the moments when you’re day has lacked any and all enjoyable moments and you hear that perfect song that just warms your heart as you lift up your hands in worship and thank God!
One thing I’ve come to realize during the fast is this:God knows no past, or present circumstance. That’s not implying that those circumstances are non-existent, it merely implies that no circumstance will have a hindrance on the praise I give my God. The increase/decrease of the intensity or severity of our circumstances should have no affect to the intensity of our worship unto God.
I believe a wonderful example of that type of yearning and worship is displayed in Job 1:20-21:
At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.
Do we yearn for God?
My prayer not only for myself, but for you as well, is that we would develop a craving for God beyond what we thought was possible; that our hearts would ache until we have encountered God....that in the midst of difficult times – whether big or small - our yearning for Almighty God would stir up a zeal and passion that would cause us to cry out in utter worship at all times – regardless of our circumstances.
God give us a yearning for you. Burn within us a passion that can never be subsided. God, that we would not become complacent or content in our relationship with you, but that ever day we would seek to chase after you with more passion and zeal than the day before. Let our yearning for you overflow out of our hearts and into the lives of others.

"Yearn” by Shane & Shane Lyrics
Holy design
This place in time
That I might seek and find my God
My God
Lord, I want to yearn for You
I want to burn with passion
Over You and only You
Lord, I want to yearn
Your joy is mine
Yet why am I fine
With all my singing and bringing grain
In light of Him
Oh You give life and breath
Through Him You give all things
In Him we live and move
That's why I sing
Acts 17:25-28, Hebrews 12:28-29

THE NATIONS FOR YOUR INHERITANCE~by: Gwen.R.Shaw

THE NATIONS FOR YOUR INHERITANCE

Scripture Reading -
Psalm 2:1-8 "Ask of me and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."
( Psalm 2:8)

That is My truth to you. All you need to do in order to be mighty in the nations, is to "ask Me."
But first you need a vision and a desire for the nations. Many of My children are very self-centered. They have no burden nor concern, nor love, nor interest in the nations. They live their lives around themselves and their immediate families.

But if you will be My true follower, you will see your neighbor through My eyes, and you will take pleasure in learning to know your generation, even though it is of another color or creed .
I love the nations. I put the bounds around them.
All the nations come from their forefather Noah (Genesis 10:32). And so, because Noah is your forefather also, you are related to all the nations. Abraham, who is your spiritual father, is the father of many nations (Genesis 17:4,5). So you are related also to many nations by the Spirit.
This is the day when no nations are afar off. Any one can be reached in a few hours. Every nation affects another nation. Something happening in the most remote nation will affect many lives in many nations in a few hours. Even small nations can shake kingdoms, e.g., Israel, Lebanon, Guyana, Nicaragua, Cuba, Vietnam, etc.

Lift up your eyes upon the nations. The treasures of Heaven are the beautiful people of the nations. I want to bring them in before the dreadful day of the outpouring of My wrath. Some of these small nations will cease to exist after the judgment of My wrath, as recorded in the Book of Revelation. So go to them now. Pray for them now. Ask Me to give you the treasures of the nations.

They can be your possessions - if you so desire.

The nations are as the colors of the rainbow. Claim them as your own. Be adorn ed by the gemstones of the nations. You can have all that your heart desires: the mountains of Switzerland, the canals of Holland, thee Great Wall of China, the deserts of the Sahara, the alabaster cities of America, the paddy-fields of Taiwan, the oil wells of Arabia, the sheep folds of New Zealand, the coal mines of Wales, the castles of England, the fashion houses of France, the gemstones of India, the cattle ranches of Argentine and the gold of South Africa.

It's all yours! Ask of Me, and I will give you the utter most parts of the earth for your possessions, and you will truly have a reason to praise Me.

Walking in the Light...

The Bible says in....
1 JOHN 1:7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
God wants to fill our hearts & mind with HIS sunshine and dispel the gloom & darkness sin brings in our lives.
Any area of neglect, any selfish attitude, any sin, if confessed, let's the light shine bright...
So let us keep walking in the light Christ sheds our way....
Living and walking in fellowship with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit  is the only way to have true peace, joy and eternal life..
Be blessed...

Life is like mist

Hi..
Life is like a mist.
Let's give every moment our best.
Let's love and serve our Lord with gladness.
Let's treasure every moment.

James 4:14
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Have a blessed Friday...

Let's not be double minded....

James 1:6-8
"But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord;
8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does."
Hi...
Thank you Lord for this day.
This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
As we begin this day may the Lord grant us wisdom and understanding to make and take decisions that are sure and right.
Let us not be double minded in our ways.
Let's be sure about what we believe, say and do.
Let us be bold and strong and not be afraid to speak up to be heard against issues that are not right.
When we know something is right or wrong may the Lord give us boldness to speak for or against it. Let's make sure of our standing and not be double minded and compromise. There's nothing to be afraid of because the Great "I AM" is with us.
Joshua 1:9
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
May Abba Father help us to be true in all we do and say.
May He have His way and will in our lives.
Have a blessed day,
Julia

Our hearts are restless till they find their rest in Thee, O Lord.
--St. Augustine
Jesus stand beside me.
Guide and direct my life.
Teach me what I need to know.
Help me with my work.
Let me serve You and others,
That I may be worthy of God's grace.
