My Faith Hope and Trust in in you O Lord..

"God's love for us is not a love that always exempts us from trials, but rather, a love that always sees us through trials."

Lord help us to be content and at peace in every situation of life. We do face trials, testings, persecution but sure not like what Apostle Paul faced and yet he wrote,

"I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength."

(Philippians 4:12,13)

What ever we go through in this life let us never lose our faith, hope and trust in the One who gave His life to save us! If we are His children and keep walking His way, all things will work together for our good in the end!

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

" But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more."(Psalm 71:14)

2015 may have been a very difficult one for some of us. It sure was for us.

But it is God's grace we stand this day facing a new year and hoping and praying our desert walk will end and we will walk into green pastures!

This difficult season too will pass and our desert will bloom again.

And..

God did not promise....

A life free of pain,

Skies always blue,

Pathway strewn with flowers,

A bed of roses,

Only sunshine with no rain,

Only joy and not sorrows,

No heart breaking incident...

But He has promised.....

Grace for the trials,

Light for the way,

Strength when we are weak,

A lift when we fall,

His undying love,

His presence with us at all time!

To mend a broken heart..

This gives us the courage to keep walking this narrow, difficult path...

May Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied on each of you.

It sure takes courage to take that 1st step of faith....!
As long as our eyes are fixed on our Lord Jesus Christ, we can keep walking...when we take our eyes off Him we drown..!

It suddenly impressed her that some day her parents could also die. When Corrie went to her father about her concern, he comforted her with these words of wisdom. “Corrie, when you and I go to Amsterdam, when do I give you your ticket?” “Why, just before we get on the train,” she replied. “Exactly,” her father said, “and our wise Father in heaven knows when we’re going to need things too. Don’t run out ahead of Him, Corrie. When the time comes that some of us will have to die, you will look into your heart and find the strength you need–just in time.”
Many of us don’t think about it but we, as humans have such a problem with fear — fear that God won’t come through when we’re in need. We want insurance — insurance for our cars, insurance for our houses, for our health and for our lives. We want to be insured that we’ll be okay if something happens. It has become our way of life in the western world .Now, we’re not saying go and cancel all your insurance plans —  but at the same time, God wants us to trust in His provision in our time of need! In our time here in Israel, we have truly learned the meani ng of “never early, never late” . Every single day since we have been here our faith has been tested and time and time again, God has provided for us in ways we could never conceive — physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially and in every other way — never early, never late— always just when we need it.
We need not fear anything that is before us.
God will give us the strength to endure anything that comes our way.

A Heart Warmer

Tess was a eight years old when she heard her Mom and Dad talking about her little brother, Andrew. All she knew was that he was very sick and they were completely out of money.

They were moving to an apartment complex next month because Daddy didn't have the money for the doctor bills and our house. Only a very costly surgery could save him now and it was looking like there was no one to loan them the money.

She heard Daddy say to her tearful Mother with whispered desperation, "Only a miracle can save him now." Tess went to her bedroom and pulled a small box from its hiding place in the closet. She poured all the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes. Carefully placing the coins back in the box, she slipped out the back door and made her way six blocks to the drug store.

She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention but he was busy talking to another man and couldn't be bothered by an eight year old at this moment. Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing ... she cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good ... Finally she took a quarter from her box and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!

"And what do you want?" the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. "I'm talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven't seen in ages." he said, without waiting for a reply to his question. "Well, I want to talk to you about my brother." Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. "He's really, really sick ... and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?" "We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'm sorry but I can't help you." the pharmacist said, softening a little.
"Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs."

The pharmacist's brother was a well dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of a miracle does your brother need?"

"I don't know." Tess replied with eyes filled with tears. "I just know he's really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it, so I want to use my money."

"How much do you have?" asked the man from Chicago.
"One dollar and eleven cents." Tess answered. "And it's all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to."

"Well, what a coincidence." smiled the man. "A dollar and eleven cents - the exact price of a miracle for little brothers." He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her hand and said , "Take me to where you live.  I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the kind of miracle you need."

That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong. a surgeon, specializing in neurosurgery. The operation was completed without charge and it wasn't long until Andrew was home again and doing well. Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place.

"That surgery", her Mom whispered, "was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?"
Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost ... one dollar and eleven cents, plus the faith of a little child !!!

When I recall the blessings
God has scattered all along the way,
The unexpected little joys
That form the fiber of each day,

When I remember lovely things
That turn the greyest skies to blue,
A ray of sunlight seems to fall
Among the hills I wander through.

When my fumbling fingers find,
Despite all the wisdom and wit,
That many of the pieces of
Life's puzzle do not seem to fit,

He has a way of sorting out
The interlocking shapes for me,
Until the pattern falls in place,
Aligned in perfect symmetry.

And I must trust His guiding hand,

All I can hope to understand.

The instances of faith restored,
Of hope renewed and love received,
