✿What happens when we take a bold stand?

Hi....

Greetings from India.

There is a moral and spiritual decline all around us. It's at a time like this we who are called the 'children of the Most High God' are to stand up to be seen, speak up to be heard and take an uncompromising stand.

This is what I learnt when reading Daniel chapter 3 .

Hope this blesses you.

When Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were asked to bow before an image of gold, ninety feet high and nine feet of King Nebuchadnezzar, they refused. When the King questioned them why they refused

to bow down they replied,

Daniel 3: 16"O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."

The moment we take an uncompromising stand, God will surely move on our behalf.

With all the persecution we see and hear of against people who refuse to compromise and take a bold stand for what they believe in, some people wonder if God's watching all this and what He is doing. But God is still in control and He sure is setting up a stage for the greatest revival ever.

What happens when we take a bold stand??

 1) We are Noticed:

The people around notice us when we stand.

Daniel 3:12 "But there are some Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon—

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego—who pay no attention to you, O king.

They neither serve your gods nor worship the image of gold you have set up."

2) The world gets irritated and hates us:

The World will surely react when we stand up for our Savior. The reaction may be positive or negative.

Daniel 3: 13 :Furious with rage, Nebuchadnezzar summoned Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. So these men were brought before the king,"

WE may be hated and despised for our stand. But this should not turn us back or force us to quit.

And we need to continue to love those who hate us and pray for those who persecute us. For vengeance is not ours.

3)They will question our commitment.

Daniel 3: 14 and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, "Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up?

When we are questioned we need to be able to give them clear and wise answers. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to put the right words in our mouths. He will come to our aid.

Mark 13: 11 "Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit."

4) The world will test our commitment:

Daniel 3:  19 "Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual 20 and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace."

Should times of testing turn us away? NO!

It is a time to make a personal commitment.

1) A commitment to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, no matter what the cost. We may loose some friends, somethings close to us but the commitment is worth the cost.

2) God's pleased with our commitment. He moves on our behalf,

so that others take note of our commitment.

Daniel 3: 24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, "Weren't there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?"

      They replied, "Certainly, O king."

25 He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."

3) Our commitment brings Glory to God.

4) Our commitment to stand up for our Lord Jesus Christ, it will result in many turning to the truth and acknowledging the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Daniel 3: 28 "Then Nebuchadnezzar said, "Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king's command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God."

5) God will deal with those who persecute us in His own time because He is a righteous judge.

Daniel 3: 29 Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way."

Hebrews 10: 30 For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people." 31It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

6) Commitment to take a bold stand always ends with promotion. 

Daniel 3:30 "Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon."

Let's not be afraid or ashamed to stand up to be seen for who we believe in and speak up to be heard.

~~God created you and me in HIS Image and we are beautiful and precious in HIS sight.

Just take a look around everything God's created is beautiful & artistic isn't is?

~~Seen the butterflies?

~~Just look at the flowers the beauty, color and inhale it's fragrance.

~~The birds of the air are so many and each so...unique.

~~And mountains display His Greatness!

~~And see the whales, dolphins and fishes of the ocean..

~~Seen the beauty of sunrise and sunset..? WOW!

~~The rainbow's beauty?

Does nature hide it's beauty?

They sing of His goodness.

~~Ever looked at the mirror & thanked God (JESUS) for making you ..for each of us are fearfully and wonderfully made!

~~You are an original, an individual, a masterpiece, one of a kind~

~~Designed to Glorify God as only as you can. 

Celebrate that!

You are the child of the Most High God, hand picked by Jesus.

He said

John 15:16"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."

~~So let's think good of us & be happy at the way God created us & let's not think or speak negative about us.

Remember God never makes junk!

~~The fact is God's done a marvelous job on you when He created you in your mother's womb (Psalm 139)

~~You are His Ambassadors on Earth, so walk with confidence because you represent the Kingdom of Heaven down here.

What if Jesus walked into your door today?

That's a pretty thought provoking question to ask someone. 

What would you be doing? 

Would you be in shock, and plagued with the guilty conscience of your actions? 

Or would you be steadfast in His Word, watching and waiting for Him to walk through your door? 

The next time Jesus comes will be the Rapture for the Bride of Christ. No man knoweth the day nor the hour, therefore we must always be ready.

Can these dry bones live?

Hi...

Can these dry bones live? Yes they can!!

Can dry dead situation came to life? Yes they can...!!

Can those spiritually wounded and back slidden be brought back on track? Of course they can!!

Can relationships on the verge of breaking up be restored? Certainly it can!

Let's pray God will raise up the dry bone today...

Abba Father...

Raise up these old dry bones and breath life into them.

Satan may think he has the power to steal, kill and destroy but You O Lord give life in abundance...

Lord....Raise your end time Army with those Satan thought He had wounded, killed and were left by the wayside!

May Your will be done and the enemy put to shame!!!

May they arises from the ashes stronger, wiser and bolder and send the enemy running...he is a defeated foe...

We your children are more than conquerors!!

Resist the devil and he will flee

Hi..

✿Let's resist the devil and his works..

 The Devil let's go only when compelled. You are given the power to resist him.

So be strong in the Lord, wear your armor, wrestle, stand, withstand, resist and overcome!

✿We don't have to listen to the little devil and live in despair.

He is the father of all lies(John 8:44)

✿We don't have to listen to his accusations and live in defeat.

He is the 'accuser of the brethren.'( Rev 12:10)

✿We don't have to pay attention to his hateful voice and live in fear.

He has no love in him and all he knows is to steal, kill and destroy all that belongs to God.

★2 Corinthians 2:11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

✿Let's choose to listen to the voice of our Abba Father who loved us soo.. much that He sent His only Son our Lord and Savior to die in our place.

✿Our Lord walks with us and talks to us and His Spirit abides in us.

The devil labels us but our Lord anoints us!

✿ Let not the little devil's (he thinks he is a lion!) nor his hisses( he sure is a sly serpent) bother you.

Why fear when we have The Lion Of Judah walk with us?

✿We need to resist the devil and his works.

We cannot resist the devil if we do not submit to God first.

And we need to be fully armored.

( Read Ephesians 6: 10-20)

✿It's best to resist the little devils voice and not get in conversation with him as we have nothing to prove to him, he is not our judge, Jesus Christ our Lord is the one who has the right to judge us!

✿Let's also reject every power, principalities or instrument he would seek to use against us.

✿Let's reject infirmity, pain, infection, malignancies, addictions, and take total victory in the Almighty Name of Jesus Christ.

✿Let's know that through the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus on the cross, we have passed out from under the curse and entered into all the blessings of Abraham, health, prosperity, victory and God's favor.

Lord you commanded Jonah to go to Nineveh but he diverted himself to Tarshish, expose every diversion in our lives and help us to turn back to Your will and plan, In Jesus Name..Amen 

Abba Father..help us to realize walking away from Your plan only delays our breakthroughs and Miracles.

Love and forgive anyways..

Sometimes it's hard to love people who hate us....

But let's love them anyways...

Some times people refuse to forgive or accept forgiveness,

But forgive and seek forgiveness anyways.

Let Christ's love always rule and reign in our hearts.

Let's choose to be humble and loving.

Let's be the Light God's called us to be.

Jesus also said..." If you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, your Father in heaven will forgive you.

But if you don't forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins."

(Matthew 6:14-15)

" Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful." (Luke 6:36)

People are made to be loved but in today's world, people are being used and things are being loved. 

Let's change that today and remember that a little love goes a long way.

So let's choose to love even those who treat us bad.

Let's choose to see the good in them. It's okay of they fail to see our hearts, misunderstand us & treat us rudely...

Let's still love.

Our Lord heals.restores n brings peace

What seems to be destruction or end.....May be the seed of a new beginning ....Today we will pray for those whose life has been devastated by some loss (finances/job), sickness, death of a loved one or struggling in a relationship.

Our God renews, restores and recreates!

Let us look up to the Son of God!

If we place flower pots near the window, we'll find the flowers turning towards the sun. It seems they to prefer to look at the light than the darkness within the room...:)

Even as the flowers turn towards the sun, which is it's source of energy, let us look towards the SON OF GOD (JESUS OUR SAVIOR) for our source of joy and strength. Let the Glory of God reflect on us and through us.

Even Christian kids & youth are looking out for someone they can look up to & are disappointed with alot of professing Christians & are looking for some 'real Christian model'.

So the need of the hour is 'a model' to present Jesus Christ as the Only Saviour & Hope to this lost world.

God is counting on men & women who will be effective 'models' in the Body Of Christ , who will live an uncompromising life...

God's counting on you & me!

Importance of "Rest"

Hi...

In this busy life "Rest" has become a rare commodity!

Everyday we find there are so many jobs to do. No matter who we are, a professional, home maker, student, the chores seem endless. So many are pushing themselves beyond their limit to be successful in studies and profession that they have forgotten to rest and really enjoy life. They work day and night to be successful and forget to even have proper meals on time. God does want His people to work and not be lazy but be successful and the "Head". But He does not want them to run in circles with no rest. He does not want to see His children strive hard and stress themselves out by working 7 days a week. He wants us to "Rest" one day in a week. He established one day each week as a day for rest (Genesis 2:2-3; Exodus 20:8-11).

"Rest" means, 1) Cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength. 2) An instance or period of relaxing or ceasing to engage in strenuous or stressful activity. 

God Himself found the need to rest after a busy 6 days of Creation work.

Genesis 2:2 "By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. "

He knew the importance of rest and made it mandatory for His people and even their animals.He knew this rest was needed once a week after a hectic 6 days of work, to refresh the body, heart and mind for He is concerned about our over all well being.

 Exodus 23:12 “Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed."

The Bible says in 

 Psalm 127:2, "In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to[a] those he loves."

But in midst of all the running around, we need to stop everything once in a while and take a break one day in a week to just "Rest"

Even in midst of our work we can stop awhile to sit back, take a deep breath and just do something to relax ourselves.  May be we can just stretch ourselves a bit, or sit back and sip a hot cup of coffee.

We can listen to some good music or just close your eyes a while.

If we have a lovely view outside our window, we can sit by a while and look at the flowers, watch the birds, enjoy the beauty around us, watch the kids laugh and play.

Relaxing a bit sure helps to ease the work pressure and helps us get back to work with fresh energy.

Life is precious and short, let's take time in midst of our busy schedule to relax a bit and be refreshed.

Let us take time to enjoy God's gift of time, once in a while or you'll just miss the joy it brings.

Jesus Christ our Lord urged His disciples to rest when He saw they were nat even taking time to eat they food.

Mark 6:31"Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he (Jesus) said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.

How many of us fail to eat our meals on time because we are too busy?

It's time to stop and rest!

May Yeshua's presence refresh your body, mind and heart and make life worth living!

Deuteronomy 33:12 

About Benjamin he said: "Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders."

A practice almost forgotten...

A practice almost forgotten: kneeling before the Lord our God in reverence! It sure is not a must to always kneel down n pray but it's a privilege to do so whenever we can.

 Jesus knelt down n prayed,His disciples. Paul, Ezra, 

Daniel and so many others knelt down before God. 

Luke 22: 39 Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. 40 On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” 41 He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt dowand prayed,

Acts 20:36 When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.

2 Chronicles 7:3 When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the LORD above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, “He is good; his love endures forever.”

Acts 9:40 Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.

Holy is our God! Even Angels bow before Him!

 From "The Kneeling Christian, Quote>David Livingstone was a great champion of Victorian Imperialism. ... Livingstone was found dead by his servants, knelt in prayer by his bedside. He used to everyday kneeling down by his bed side. 

His servants who found him dead beside the bed, still kneeling, cut his heart from his body and buried it there on the spot. They then carried his body to the coast to British authorities to be carried to England for burial. 

For over 1,000 miles, they fought their way through hostile tribes with that body, never allowing it to touch the ground, so  much they reverenced their master.

Every knee will bow before our God one day, we sure can start practicing it today when we have strength in our knees.

How often do we kneel before The Great I AM...?

The saint who advances on his knees never retreats.

Raining!

Hi..

 

It's finally raining heavily in Mumbai and many parts of India!

Thanking God for the rains.

Praying this will be a good monsoon for India and even places that were facing a severe drought will get good rains.

May the rivers that had dried up over-flow again!

May the farmers be blessed!

★Leviticus 26: I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. 

★Acts 14:17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy."

 

But..

Heavy rains causes heavy flooding in many low lying areas in our city and many parts of this nation.

Let's pray the Lord will keep us safe.

❤Abba Father You are the preserver of men, and the keeper of our lives. We commit ourselves to Your perfect care as we travel out on rainy days. We pray for a safe travel by road, rail or air. 

Give Your angels charge over us to keep us in all

our ways. Let no evil befall us, nor any harm come to our

dwelling that we leave behind. Although we are uncertain

of what the day may bring, may we be prepared for any event or delay, and greet such with patience and understanding.

Bless us O Lord, that we may complete our daily outdoor duties and return home safely and remain under Your ever watchful care.

May the light of God surrounds us,

His love enfolds us, the power of God protects us,

And the presence of God watch over us and our Nation;
