Hard hearts difficult to crack?

The Bible teaches us not to harden our hearts...

Hebrews 3: 7-8, " So, as the Holy Spirit says: 

   "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts "

Psalm 95:8, "do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, 

       as you did that day at Massah in the desert,"

For hard hearts are difficult to crack...they hardly understand the feelings of others and don't easily break down in compassion for the lost and suffering.

Hardheartedness keeps one from seeing their need for Jesus and Godly wisdom.

God's word cannot take root in a hard heart. It has to be plowed & softened to sow.

Jere 4:3-4,"This is what the LORD says to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem: 

       "Break up your unplowed ground 

       and do not sow among thorns. "

    ⁴ Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, 

       circumcise your hearts, 

       you men of Judah and people of Jerusalem, "

God's Word is not understood and believed!

John 12:39-40, " ³⁹For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:"He has blinded their eyes 

      and deadened their hearts, 

   so they can neither see with their eyes, 

      nor understand with their hearts, 

      nor turn—and I would heal them."

So let's pray the Lord softens hearts, make it pliable and receptive to His Word and to feel the hurt, pain and understand the feelings of those around.

In Exodus we see Pharaoh's heart was hardened that he refused to see the suffering the Israelites went through.

God's looking for a broken and contrite heart.

Psalm 51:17, " The sacrifices of God are  a broken spirit; 

       a broken and contrite heart, 

       O God, you will not despise."

"Lord please help our Hearts to be always soft, plyable and receptive."

Abused?

Hi ...

 How often young girls, women go through physical, emotional and verbal abuse and have no place to turn to.

Like physical abuse,  emotional and verbal abuse too is hard to heal and forget. How often people you totally trust, hurt your emotions and betray your trust and make you feel used and abused? And to add to it they rejoice at your suffering instead of  lending a helping hand. 

How often you find yourself share your feelings in trust to a friend and that friend betrays your trust?

How often you feel used and abused in a relationship? One day they'll praise you, say you are the best and appreciate you and when they find someone else they can communicate with, they just walk away without a word and even if you should see them, stop by to smile and say "Hello", they just turn away and pretend they didn't see or know you.
Why is it so...often the abuser gets away and the abused is traumatized and victimized for life?

You know it's natural you get angry   frustrated to see an abused as the accused and abusers walk free but fear not you have a God who understands every pain, emotional and physical for He went through it all on the cross. He endured not just the ultimate physical pain, but the pain of rejection, which rend His heart, that He cried out, "Father, Father, why have you forsaken me." So today you need to turn to Him and He'll understand you like no other. Loved ones and people you trust may hurt you, walk away, breach your trust, talk behind your back and leave you feeling emotionally hurt.

But remember Jesus Christ your Lord loves you and knows all you go through and He will never ever turn His back on you. Will you cry out to Him, He's waiting with open arms to hold you and heal you.
Let's do all we can to stop all kinds of abuse and be sensitive to the feeling of the abused.

Purify us O Lord.......

O LORD...take a burning coal from Your alter and purge my heart, my lips, my mind, purge out the desires of my flesh. Give me a new desire, a new hunger, to walk Holy and blameless before you.

Don't allow anything to remain in my life that is displeasing and unholy in your sight,

I give myself to you in total dedication and consecration of all that I am and all that I have.

Take me Lord, make me into a vessel worthy to serve You.

Create in me a clean heart O Lord..

Renew the right spirit within me.

When visiting hospitals, it's sad to see hundreds and thousands in sick bed, some in severe pain, some have their flesh wasting away, some battling terminal illness..

The best we can do is pray..

Today let's lift our eyes up to the Maker of Heaven and earth and pray for all who are sick.., in pain, terminally ill.

Tried to get some scriptures from God's Word and turn it into a prayer..

There is POWER in God's Word...

May our Faith be increased as we believe for healing of someone we are praying for...

A touch of the helm of His garment will bring healing.....

We all need encouragement and the prayers of others.

An over comer...

An Over-comer who belongs to Jesus Christ, does not fear Satan or his demons and discerns the plan and work of the enemy.

An Over comer resists the devil and stands victorious.

He has the backing of God's Mighty warrior angels..

Then why fear the attack of the enemy?

Revelation 20:10 "10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[a] the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."

Our prayers can restrict the enemy's activity!

Hi.. Our accuser( Satan, our real enemy is called the accuser of the brethren) is Null and Void...Jesus covers, shields, protects us completely..:) One day he will be hurled down! Revelation 12:10 "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down." The powers of darkness hate us and will do anything and everything he can, to  harm us physically, emotionally and/or spiritually. Devil is the Father of lies and a liar and will try to deceive and trap us. Let's not be ignorant of his ways.....He is our real enemy! Let's not fail to recognize him. The devil is working hard 24/7 to try to keep his forts and strongholds secure. It's time for unceasing intercessory prayer and bind the works of the strongman and carry away all that he has stolen (especially souls) for greater is He that is within us! Matthew 12:29 "Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man?" Luke 11: 21 "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. 22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up the spoils." Our flesh can be a "strong man', difficult to overcome but the enemy too is..I believe...!  To get his plunder out from the enemy's grip, all our prayers can move the hands of God to bind and restrict his activity and our God's able to drive him out of our lives...and destroy his works in peoples lives. (How ever strong the enemy may think he is and does all he can to steal, kill destroy and strip down a child of God, our God's much stronger! (The Strongest) Why fear the devil when Jesus Christ our Lord is Our Redeemer, our Savior, our Protector, our Shield, our Fortress!! So..PRESS ON... CHALLENGE EVERY POWERS OF DARKNESS THAT COMES NEAR YOU, YOUR HOME, YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR BUSINESS, IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST YOUR LORD. SATAN IS THE ONE WHO IS BEHIND EVERY CONFUSION, STRIFE.. Choose friends wisely....

Hi ..

MY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST is THE BEST FRIEND I CAN EVER HAVE.

And I learnt the beauty of friendship from HIS life!!

Let's choose friends wisely.

When we find good friends let's keep them!!

Find friends in the Kingdom who will help build up our faith, pray for us and pray with us. Who'll be good sounding boards and also encourage us in the Lord and help us draw closer to God.

The Bible says.....

^{Exodus 33:11} The LORD would speak to Moses face to face,

as a man speaks with his friend. Then Moses would return to

the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not

leave the tent.

Communication is so..important in friendship...It's when you communicate we get to know the other person better!!

Prov 17: ¹⁷ A friend loves at all times,

A true friend will love you in spite of your short-comings and failures.

 

^{Luke:5: 20}When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your

sins are forgiven."

True friends in Christ, will easily forgive you when you hurt them, pick you up when you fall, not accuse or judge you, for they remember that Jesus Christ had loved them when they were sinners & picked them up from right were they were & looked with compassion & love.

They remember Jesus had not looked at their sin & accuse them, not did He shake their finger at them, but looked beyond their sin at their repentant heart & forgave them.

who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is

full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is

mine, and it is now complete.

A friend is a good listener and rejoices to hear his friends voice. We need to be good listeners & happy to hear them talk.

John  15:¹³Greater love has no one than this, that he lay

down his life for his friends. ¹⁴You are my friends if you do

what I command. ¹⁵I no longer call you servants, because a

servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I

have called you friends, for everything that I learned from

my Father I have made known to you.

A friend knows his/ her friend very well, & teaches & edifies the other & is willing to help, encourage. They'll stand by you no matter what.

But if a friend leaves you when you walk through trial, fails to pick you up when you fall, doesn't listen when you talk, pretend not to notice you when you pass by, ignore when you reach out,

THEY ARE NOT FRIENDS AT ALL!!!

 SO CHOOSE FRIENDS WISELY.

True friends can and will always be a Blessing in your life.
