Homosexuality ...what God's Word says about it...

• Starting with a prayer..

  Lord give us Your love in our hearts to love everyone like you loved, to pray for those who persecute us and for those struggling, fallen and backslidden. Help us not be quick to judge, condemn, criticize, cast stones but reach out to others in prayer and love. 

  In Jesus Name, Amen!"

  John 8:10 "Woman where are they? Has no one condemned you? Then neither do I condemn you. Go now and sin no more."

  In this day and age of "tolerance" and NOT wanting to offend someone...are we tolerating a soul to HELL?

  or 

  Are we willing to STAND up for THE TRUTH and SPEAK THE UNCOMPROMISING TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD AND LOVE ANOTHER TO HEAVEN...

  NO MATTER THE COST?

  May we always do everything with this fact that we too were once sinners but it was because someone reached out to us, prayed for us, showed us the way to the cross, that we came to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that saved us. And when He looked at us, our repentant heart, He never condemned us, but did forgive us and sure said, "Go and sin no more."

  

  
  

  God's Word says...

  1 Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders."

  When the Bible says these people will not inherit God's Kingdom, I am sure God meant it! Then why not warn people involved in it? 

  The God-ordained institution of marriage is under attack in courts all over the world, and your help is needed to save it before the one man-one woman definition of marriage is completely and radically redefined. Homosexual marriage/relationships will soon be a reality if you fail to get involved!

  What we 'tolerate' we can never change!!

  LET'S PRAY AND DO ALL WE CAN TO PRESERVE THE ONE MAN ONE WOMAN COVENANT RELATIONSHIP~"MARRIAGE"

  It's sad to see some so called 'Christians' justifying Homosexuality.

  There are "Homosexual Churches" " Christian Gays" 

  Lurpus a young 25 year old man of God asks,

  "How can one believe that a person can be a Christian while wantonly engaging in habitual sin; such as homosexuality, fornication, adultery in mind or body, the support in any way whatsoever of the murder of the unborn, or any other sin."

  One Ronnie writes 

  Do we next also accept incest, blasphemy and finally murder?  Why should we compromise our values and the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus just to accommodate roughly 2% of the population?  

  Mankind advances while God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow for eternity.  If it was sin in the beginning, it's still sin now.  There is no compromise.  I don't care if anyone disagrees with me or what they may think of me for my stance on this issue.  I WILL NOT compromise and accept what I know to be a sin. When I accepted Christ as my savior I vowed to be as much like Him as I possibly can.  This is what Christian means, Christlike."

  Genesis 19:5  "And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.” 

  Leviticus 18:22  You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. 

  Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. 

  Romans 1:26-27 "For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. 

  1 Timothy 1:10 "for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, "

  Jude 1:6 "And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. 7In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."

   I write this not because it is related to "conforming or not conforming to the norms of our society" but because it is totally related to the "Word of God". So how can I take a compromising stand and call white black or black white? There is no grey area when it comes to the Word of God....!
  My prayer is the Lord pours His love in our hearts so that we can pray and reach out in love and with the truth of His Word to those who feel rejected, unloved and struggle to be set free from anything that holds them down.
  But truth does hurt....
  But quoting God's Word is not to "CONDEMN" but it is just speaking the "WORD OF GOD" as it is! 
  Some people will love us if we HIDE THE TRUTH.    
  Some will hate us if we SIDE THE TRUTH..  
  But God sure will be pleased with us if we ABIDE BY THE TRUTH.
  My intention was never to condemn but share the truth of God's Word! I don't want to either debate....
   I like what Max Lucado writes ,.."It’s easier to talk about a person than to help a person. It’s easier to debate homosexuality than to be a friend to a gay person. It’s easier to discuss divorce than to help the divorced. It’s easier to argue abortion than to support an orphanage. It’s easier to complain about the welfare system than to help the poor.
  It’s easier to label than to love.
  Is that to say we should be unconcerned for doctrine or lax in a desire for holiness? 
  Absolutely not." May we love like Jesus did to all who need His touch."
  Loving does not mean we take stand for that which contradicts God's Word. This love is not a love that ignores the dirt that destroys and defiles God’s Masterpiece, but a love that recognizes that the grace of God can cleanse heal and restore any messed-up person like you or me!

  ~Time to stand up fot the truth..and Say "NO" to sin!

  ~Be willing to "FLEE AND RESIST" temptations,

  ~Stop "COMPROMISING", 

  ~Be willing to "GIVE UP" things that hold us back,

  ~"STAND UP" when we fall and keep moving forward,

  ~Let us "NOT DELIBERATELY SIN" after we know the truth,

  ~Let's say "NO" to anything that in the long run will harm our BODY, SOUL or SPIRIT.

Your deserts will bloom again...

Isaiah 35:1 [ The Future Glory of Zion ] The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;  Hi.. When God allows us to pass through testing times we should know we'll come out stronger and better.Let's learn to walk through the desert praising God.  Soon the dry deserts in our lives too will bloom. God permits these desert walk so that we learn to cope with pain, rejection, misunderstanding, loss, death etc.  When we faithfully endure, in due season God will make our deserts bloom.  Let's serve God regardless of our circumstance. May be nothing is going as planned but let's remember God has good plans for each one of us His children. Let's praise God at all times..even in our dry seasons. Habakkuk 3:17 Though the fig tree may not blossom,       Nor fruit be on the vines;       Though the labor of the olive may fail,       And the fields yield no food;       Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,       And there be no herd in the stalls—        18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,       I will joy in the God of my salvation.        19 The LORD God [c] is my strength;       He will make my feet like deer’s feet,       And He will make me walk on my high hills.  Has the going been tough for some of us? God's Word says.. " We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 So let's press on... Are we facing persecution because of our faith...? Let's not give up.. Matthew 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let not cares and worries of this life discourage you. This too will pass and our desert will bloom again. And.. God did not promise.... A life free of pain, Skies always blue, Pathway strewn with flowers, A bed of roses, Only sunshine with no rain, Only joy & not sorrows, No heart breaking incident... But He has promised..... Grace for the trials, Light for the way, Strength when we are weak, A lift when we fall, His undying love, His presence with us at all time! To mend a broken heart.. Let us resist, press one... and overcome....

When the opposition is strong from the enemy let us be determined to fight through and the Lord will raise a standard against him.

The Bible says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” 

Let us not back up in fear, give up but hold on...fight on...

Let us  use our spiritual armor daily, carry our weapons of warfare; the word of God, the Blood of Jesus and His Name, the word of our testimony and prayer and overcome the enemy!

Hosts of God's angels will back us up and the very presence of God is with us...

His Joy is our strength and praising Him, breaks the enemy's shackles! When Paul and Silas were in the prison, they praised the Lord with all their hearts and the chains that bound them broke.

Our Lord is the Glory and lifter of our head!

Say "NO" to Adultery!

It does not matter what is the nature of sin.."Sin is Sin". 

But we have a God who forgives and forgets!

If we can confess our sins, we can be forgiven of it! 

It doesn't matter what we've done, if we sincerely turn to God in repentance and confess our sins, He will forgive us of ALL unrighteousness... that includes anything we've done, that we are willing to bring before Him!

  1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness."

There is Hope in Jesus! Anyone in Christ is a new creation. 

Adultery is sin too! 

God's Word says...

 Exodus 20:14 “You shall not commit adultery.'

 Proverbs 6:32 "But a man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself."

  Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia says, "Adultery (anglicised from Latin adulterium) is a type of extramarital sex. "

But what does Jesus say?

 Matthew 5:27, 28“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

 Matthew 19:9 "And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”

 What do the following writers say? (All scriptures are inspired by the breath of God.)

 Hebrews 13:4 "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."

 1 Corinthians 6:18 "Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body."

Can one overcome this temptation? 

Well God does provide a way of escape! One needs to flee to escape!  

In Genesis 39, When Joseph faced temptation, he left his garment in Potiphar's wife's hand and fled and got out of the house. The grace of God enabled Joseph to overcome the temptation, by avoiding the tempter. 

 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Will God forgive a person who sincerely repents of this sin? Well God in His mercy does! But He says, "“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

 John 8:4-11 They said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground.  At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.  Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said.

“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Finally....what if one chooses to live in sin?

Ephesians 5:5 "For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God."

 Revelation 21:8 "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Turn wandering eyes to the Lord...He forgives, fixes, heals, restores and binds!

HAVE SOME FRIENDSHIPS TAKEN TOO MUCH OF OUR TIME, THAT WE FIND NO TIME TO TALK TO GOD?
IF GOD'S BEEN PROMPTING US TO LET GO OF THINGS ACTIVITIES, FRIENDSHIPS THAT HOLDS ON TO US...
LET'S TODAY PRAYFULLY LET THEM GO.
ANYTHING THAT COMES BETWEEN US AND GOD IS AN IDOL.
LET'S REMOVE ALL IDOLS FROM OUR LIVE.
LET OUR LORD & SAVIOR BE OUR FIRST LOVE ALWAYS.HE DESERVES OUR BEST.
LET'S LET GO OF THINGS THAT SO...ENSNARE US AND RECEIVE HIS BLESSINGS,

THE THINGS WE HOLD ON TO MAY BE HARMLESS BUT STILL GOD HAS SOMETHING REALLY BETTER, IF HE'S ASKING TO LAY IT DOWN, IT'S ONLY TO FILL US WITH HIS ANOINTING, HIS PRESENCE AND ALL THE GIFTS HE HAS TO OFFER. HOW OFTEN I HAVE STUBBORNLY HELD ON TO THINGS...WHEN THE LORD ASKED ME TO LET GO..EVER SO...GENTLY.......
TODAY I JUST WANT TO LAY IT ALL AT HIS FEET TELL HIM..
" LORD TAKE AWAY ALL THAT'S NOT REQUIRED AND REPLACE IT WITH THINGS FROM YOUR HANDS...."

IT MAY BE PAINFUL TO LET SOME THINGS GO AND LAY SOME STUFF DOWN. BUT WE NEED TO DO IT.

" GIFT OF PEARLS "(A touching story...)

The cheerful girl with bouncy golden curls was almost five.
Waiting with her mother at the checkout stand, she saw them: a circle of glistening white
pearls in a pink foil box. "Oh please, Mommy, Can I have them? Please, Mommy, please?" Quickly the mother checked the back of the little foil box and then looked back into the pleading blue eyes of her little girl's upturned face."A dollar ninety-five. That's almost $2.00. If you really want them, I'll
think of some extra chores for you and in no time you can save enough money to buy them for yourself.Your birthday's only a week away and you might get
another crisp dollar bill from Grandma."   As soon as Jenny got home, she
emptied her penny bank and counted out 17 pennies.After dinner, she did more than her share of chores and she went to the neighbor and asked Mrs.McJames if she could pick dandelions for ten cents.
On her birthday, Grandma did give her another new dollar bill and at last she had enough money to buy the necklace. Jenny loved her pearls.They made her feel dressed up and grown up. She wore them everywhere - Sunday School, kindergarten, even to bed.The only time she took them off was when she went swimming or had a bubble bath.
Mother said if they got wet, they might turn her neck green.
Jenny had a very loving daddy and every night when she was ready for bed, he would stop whatever he was doing and come upstairs to read her a story.

One night when he finished the story, he asked Jenny,  "Do you love me?" "Oh yes, Daddy.You know that I love you." "Then give me your pearls." "Oh, Daddy, not my pearls. But you can have Princess - the white horse from my collection, the one with
the pink tail. Remember, Daddy? The one you gave me. She's my favorite."
"That's okay, Honey. Daddy loves you. Good night." And he brushed her cheek with a kiss.
About a week later, after the story time, Jenny's daddy asked
again, Do you love me?"  "Daddy, you know I love you." "Then give me your pearls." "Oh Daddy, not my pearls.But you can have my baby doll, the brand
new one I got for my birthday.She is so beautiful and you can have the
yellow blanket that matches her sleeper." "That's okay. Sleep well.
God bless you, little one. Daddy loves you." And as always, he brushed her cheek with
a gentle kiss.
A few nights later when her daddy came in, Jenny was sitting
on her bed with her legs crossed Indian-style.As he came close, he noticed
her chin was trembling and one silent tear rolled down her cheek.
"What is it, Jenny? What's the matter?" Jenny didn't say anything but lifted her
little hand up to her daddy.
And when she opened it, there was her little
pearl necklace. With a little quiver, she finally said, "Here, Daddy.It's all yours ."   With tears gathering in his own eyes, Jenny's kind daddy
reached out with one hand to take the dime-store necklace, and with the other hand he reached into his pocket and pulled out a blue velvet case with a
strand of genuine pearls and gave them to Jenny. He had them all the time.
He was just waiting for her to give up the dime-store stuff so he could give her the genuine treasure. So it is with our Heavenly Father.He is waiting for us to give up the cheap things  in our lives so that he can give us beautiful treasure.Isn't God good? Are you holding onto things which God wants you to
let go of??Are you holding on to harmful or unnecessary partners,
relationships, habits and activities which you have come so attached to that it seems impossible to let go?   Sometimes it is so hard to see what is in the
other hand but do believe this one thing...

God will never take away something without giving you something better in its place !
