Angels watch over our little children..

🌾🌸Children are a gift...from God...

🌾🌸He entrusted them to us....

🌾🌸There are angels assigned to watch over little children.

🦋Matthew 18: 10 "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven."🦋

🌾🌸And these angels always watch the Father's face. So we need to value our kids, each of them are special in God's eyes.

🌾🌸Let kids not be aborted or ignored.

🌾🌸Let kids not be abused or looked down on.

🌾🌸God cares for a child, right when it's formed in the mothers womb.

🌾🌸So they are precious!

This is the month of "MAY".

So...

🌾"May" the Lord meet each of us at the point of our need.

🌾"May" ever barren area be fruitful.

🌾"May" we find favor in His eyes.

🌾"May" what we waited for a long time, be miraculously delivered to us in the name of Jesus.

🌾"May" the anointing of God upon our life give us favour in the eyes of God and man all the days of our life.

🌾"May" our Lord show Himself Mighty in our midst.

Hold on and do not give up..

☘️Sometimes we think that believing in God will shield us from calamity, loss, pain and when we go thro' such times we question God's goodness, His justice and cry out to God like David, "For You are the God of my strength, why have You rejected me? Why have you forgotten me?"(Psalm 43:2/Psalm 42:9).
🍀But though David's soul was in despair and he was disturbed, he chose to hope in God! He knew God will lift him up!
🍀When Job lost everything dear to him and was brought to the ground, he did not curse God.
Someone said,"When we have nothing left but God, God is more than enough!"
🍀Job and David knew their God will not test them beyond what they could bear.
🍀What would we do when and where would we stand if everything that we held on to was slowly taken away?
🍀Would we still praise God? Be joyful? Be at peace?
🍀Let us choose to trust God thro' the most difficult times, in the darkness so that we can rejoice at the victory the dawn will bring!

Give Hope, Be kind

This is a new day and it comes loaded with hope!
I know that we all face challenges in life. They are real, often times difficult and tiresome. They can sap us of our strength when we let them consume us.
Let us speak kind and encouraging words to the hurting. Let us give hope to thw hopeless.
Time and seasons do and will change!
Just need to hold on in faith!
Passing through a difficult season?
May our Lord give you the grace, not give up but persevere and praise Him through your trials and lamentations.
It happens in the Psalms all the time.
It happened with Job, and with Paul!
Better things are yet to come!

Family that prays together

"Praying together with your spouse on a consistent basis will accomplish more for your marriage than any other one thing you can get from all your sessions of counseling."~Ed

Hi...

It's said."A family that prays together stays together." 

And where there is no prayer there sure is strife, disunity, disharmony!

🌿🌺 James 5:16 that we are to "pray for each other so that you may be healed." 

☘️As life gets busy, it's sad to see quality family devotional time not being a priority anymore. Sometimes one finds easy to pray with a friend or take part in prayer meetings but does not know that prayer ministry begins in the secret place and then with the family.

☘️ A child's greatest need: Praying parents.

Time to get back to family prayer times.

☘️Is Prayer important to our relationship with our spouse and kids or is prayer is just a formality? 

☘️Praying with our loved one should never be taken lightly. When we pray with our spouse and kids, it's good to sit down together, hold hands and seriously pray.

☘️But it is sad prayer is no longer a priority but an option.

🌿🌺Matthew 18: 18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven. 19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

☘️We need to cover our kids with prayers regularly, intensely and whenever God brings our child to mind, may be our child is facing a difficult situation at that moment.

How important is prayer for families?
Some one wrote...
"Prayer for families is the very foundation that keeps a family unit together."
Have you heard the phrase "A family that prays together stays together"?
Again I Quote:
"The concept is true - a family that has their focus on praying to the Lord Jesus Christ has a foundation that may be shaken at times, but it will withstand all that comes against them."
☘️May our 1st priority be God and our time with Him.
☘️Next is Family and time with family, building  each other with prayer and love.
☘️3rd has to be Ministry/Business and other things.
When priorities are misplaced it is the family unit that falls apart.
🙏 Let us strengthen our personal prayer time and prayer alters at home, take time to pray together as a family before we pray with others and for others.
🙏 Let us pray for families and relationships strained within walls of the home due to lack of prayer, love and understanding.
🙏Let's thank God for our families this day and pray a hedge of protection around our families.
🙏So many marriages are in trouble, divorce among Christians on the rise.
There are people we know who's hearts are breaking, who are stressed out and on the verge of giving up, let us pray for them.
Have we neglected family prayers?
Time to get back to it...

Eventually God will reveal

🍁If God is the One who is leading us, why worry when our path has thorns and stones. He sure did not say life will be trial free.
🍁Someday He will reveal to us the purpose of our pain and trials.
🍁Till then we have to hold His hands and follow Him.
Jesus Christ knows what He is doing and He has good plans for us.
🍁He will one day deliver us from all our troubles(Psalm 34:19)

Christ is the Head of our home!

🍂 We will proudly display this in our wall, say it but is He really the Head of our homes?

🍂 Does what He speak really matter to us? Do we obey Him? He being the Head has the right to rearrange things, discard stuff, bring in new things. He sure knows best. 

🍂 As He silently listens to our conversations, watches what we do, will He be pleased?

Nothing is hidden from God. 

🍁Hebrews 4:13, "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.“

🍂  How we  treat the weak, helpless in our midst too reflect who we are and to Whom we belong to. God is watching. 

🍂 We are to be a guiding light and helping hand to those weak in faith. We are to love them uncoditionally, pray and never be a stumbling block on their path.

🍂 Nothing misses God's eyes, His Word says in     🍁Proverbs 15:3, "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Watching the evil and the good."

🍂 He knows even our thoughts! 

Under His eyes we are safe!

Take a walk with God!

What distracts us or tempts us from spending time with God, ignore Him and not read God's Word?

Sometimes we need to take our eyes off our mobiles, TV, situations that we battle with and take a long walk in a quiet place and talk to God, all Him to speak to us.

We need to come back to our 1st love and spend time in His Presence daily.

A little Light and a Big difference...

Something to think about..

Don't ever think that a little light cannot make any difference because there is soo much of darkness around.

Remember even one candle can light up a dark room.

A little light sure can make a BIG difference...

So let your light shine and make a difference in someones life this day!

Let's God's Light shine on your face this day.

Psalm 4:6

Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.

Isaiah 60:1

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you."

Reflect JESUS/YESHUA~~The Light of your life~~ so that others see JESUS and are drawn to HIM.

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

2 Corinthians 4:6

For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Just because God is silent doesn't mean He hasn't heard or seen.

"He will arise as at Mt.Perazim & be stirred as in the valley of Gibeon....to do His work, His Awesome work, and bring to pass His act, His unusual work!"Isaiah 28:21

We need to not #giveup but #holdon in faith to see God move!

At The Valley of Gibeon, God fought on Joshua's side (Joshua 10:1-14) & at Mt.Perazim, God fought on David's side (2 Samuel 5:20)

He is the same yesterday, today and forever and promises to fight our battles too.

He is a #PromiseKeeper and sure never lost a battle.

Turn my eyes away....

🌾As mobiles get smarter & TV has the 'world's best' entertainment in one's fingertips, the devil who is the "ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient (Ephesians 2:2", seems to have captivated the hearts, eyes of many to be fixed on all he dishes out to keep even the so called 'Children of God' hooked, addicted to games, serials & shows. 

🌾By doing so the little devil is happy he has turned the eyes & hearts of many that was once fixed on Yahweh and His Word!

One can now sit for hours playing games, watching shows on TV, back to back that at the end of the day is too tired to talk to God, read His Word. 

🌾Our walk with God and talking to Him and worshiping Him is not just a one day affair but sometimg we do daily.

How far we have turned away from God!

Sigh!

His heart sure breaks 😢

Who is our first love?

🌾Time to set back our life in order and redeem our time!

✿The Bible says in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” 

🌾Let's resist the devil and his works designed to take us away from God.The Devil let's go only when compelled. We are given the power to resist him.

Let's not be ignorant of Satan's plans.

✿ 2 Corinthians 2:11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

🌾Our one and only enemy the Devil, is on the prowl to steal, kill and destroy,

He has nothing good in mind...

🌾Let us be careful, watch what we watch and get back to our first love!

May God turn our eyes away from worthless things that take way so much of our precious time!

We have a short time...

#fact "A man who sleeps 8 hrs a day and lives to be 75 yrs has actually spent 1/3rd of his life sleeping."

And other than this 8 hrs of sleep, how much time we waste doing, seeing and reading things that do not help us or edify us in anyway.

At the end of the day we finally have no time for quiet time with God, prayer and Bible reading or this is just a quick affair.

It's said "Time" and "Tide" waits for no man.

May God help us to use every moment wisely!

A Prayer for September

 

Cooler nights & crisper days, that's what Autumn brings. As Golden leaves crunch beneath our footsteps, Holy God, remind us that this is time for letting go. Help us drop our grudges, hurts and sorrows as the lordly maple drops it's flaming leaves. Bless us as we shed which is no longer needed. From "Guideposts" Blessed September! A

Our Heavenly abode...

Are we looking forward to our eternal home in heaven?

🌺 2 Corinthians 5:1" For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed; we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

Our Blessed hope is, Jesus Christ our Lord will take us to this Heavenly abode He has prepared for us!

He is the way to this Home! (John 14:6)

So let not our hearts be troubled.

🌺 John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

What a hope & assurance that gives!
